For clothes I like old stuff, and timeless stuff (Go silk!), and for technology I only like the new.

I don't really like one more than the other. I mean, there are things I liked in the past and things I like now, there were also things I dislike from the past and the same with the present. I either like something or I don't, but I can generalize everything enough to like one period more than another.

I think just about
any music was better back in the days than today.

Doesn't really matter to me. I like movies from throughout the years, along with really different music preferences. (Newer Rock, Indie, Classical, Queen, The Beatles, Techno, J-Pop.) I tend to like newer fashions, though.
Btw, FRANZ FERDINAND ROCKS.

Most really good movies and shows were made a while back but their are good movies and shows today too, but I always like to have my head in the past.

I like it the way it is now and I don't want it to change.

A mix of both.

I like to go for the future.

Probably newer stuff. Like in movies - the newer the movie, (usually) the better the effects, the color...

It depends. I like new fashion. Newer books.
Music I also keep in the present.
I suppose I don't fancy much old things.

I like most new stuff, but there's a few things I like from the past. It really depends on what you're talking about though.
