If that was directed at me, you've made the mistake of thinking i actually care about doctor who.

Oh give over you miserable git.

And don't give me a reply saying you're perfectly contented or some such guff, you know very well what I mean.

No, it's not scary, the plotlines are crap and the special effects are poo, but that's what Dr Who's always been to me!

Meh, it's all bad. In a good way of course. :)

That Casanova guy is the new Doctor Who isn't he? Well he's going to be. *nods*

Yeah.

Shame it's not really Ian Hislop. He's sex on legs.

:roflol: Oh how I missed HIGNFY. But yay on David Tennant being the new Doctor. And Billie's staying on too. So we go from a Northern Doctor to an even more Northern Doctor.

He'll be Cumbrian next.

He'll walk around swearing, talking about yows and saying 'aye' far too much to be healthy.

Sun Apr 17, 2005 9:38 am

Well, just as long as he doesn't start speaking Gaelic, I'll be happy.

Sun Apr 17, 2005 12:58 pm

personally, i think i should be the new doctor. i have the scarf and billie is fit, so hey ho...

its rubbish.
the deleks invasion of earth (where they could hovr...) was awful, but that atleast had redeeming qaulitys.
admitedly that qaulity was deleks getting smashed by a rabble of slaves with golf clubs but hey.

go back to the comics. they were good.

So, if it was anything other than Doctor Who, it would be rubbish? Why then, because the old version was rubbish, does it justify this one being rubbish.

Rock on party girl!               :D :) :( 8)   ;) :battar:  o_O :roflol: <3 :P :> 0:)

Doctor Who has, and always will be, the best T.V show ever in my opinion! The effects on the new series might be better than 'classic' Who, but it has the same great, ever-changing storylines and character developments as ever!

If you're going to take the mickey out of them, at least spell their names right... and again, that's just your opinion. The Dalek Invasion of Earth was one of the first storys they appeared in, and since then not only the Daleks, but all the storylines have developed lots.

Terrifying.
I mean.

ROFLOL

Depends. You have to realise I am one of the biggest crappy special effects fans ever, so I'm immensely biased. Crap special effects are fab. Reign of Fire is an awful film, but the awful blue-screening (at one point I think they forgot to insert a background) makes the whole thing wothwhile.

It's an institution to be rubbish! If it got good special effects it'd be a different show.
(It's not a very GOOD show, the effects are what makes it appeal.)

ooh, it's on again tomorrow... i'm glad that pretty boy got dumped back home, he was getting in the way of the rose/doctor love stuff.

*chuckle* It's fun watching you two bicker. As I'm normally solely on the end of Nick's "wit", I'm gonna root for Igg. *waves flag* Go Igg!
