You know, the dead givaway for this joke was that a lot the new pets were not in the basic red green yellow blue colors when the originals from the same page were.

At first I was excited about these and thought they were awesome, then took the time to look a little closer and I hate them. It's not the neo style I love, I love our Aishas and our Blumaroos... these are too detailed for me. Looks like something out of those rip-off neo sites, trying too hard and ending up with the intense details clashing. Then again I dislike the Yurble Ruki and otter-thing.

More != better, we know this from past experiences with Pokemon (what are there now, 500 of them?) 50 pets is even pushing it for me right now, the more pets developed means the less unique our originals are.

I missed it because I didn't get on the computer until this evening. But I looked at that petpage (thanks for the link) and some of those are really cute! I couldn't pick a favorite, but I liked most of them. Very cute and a good prank.
