What games should die?

People should post a reason with why a game should die. Otherwise this is just pointless bashing and will end up being an argument

Anyhoo, I reckon any of the Civilization games by Sid Meir should go deep deep deep into hell. Ok maybe the first one was ok by the standards then (10 years ago?) but MAYBE they could've changed it a little for the 2002 version that I actually bought... IT WAS SO BAD.

Anyhoo - The following games posted by people to die that shouldn't die are as followed...

Halo - The halo and halo 2 games are absolutely wonderful and smooth gameplay xbox games with AWESOME physics engines. THe depth of exploration and long time appeal for these games is why its made them xbox's highest selling sequel and games... So to whoever says halo

GTAs - Okay its just ridiculous. IF you dont like the swearing, the racism, the narcisism (sp?) and the extreme crime influence of the series (oh plus the smurf in san andreas) thats fine. BUt its no reason for it to die.... Its possibly a bad influence but its a wonderful game wiht ALOT of gameplay and exploration - and plus, killing people is fun

Final Fantasy - Wh00t for long living large number of sequel games, but possibly give it up... Until you've played EVERY one of the final fantasy sequels on all the different formats shush :p they practically revolutionised stuff...

SONIC WAS AWESOME! (but yeh the new stuff sucks)

The Harry Potter games, like halfbakedbliss said. Without a doubt. Saddest part is, I own the first and the second one. I'm a big Harry Potter fan and the games do it no justice. Bah humbug!

And most movie to game games are awful and need to be six feet under.

for some utterly odd reason i own all of them for PC or my gamecube.
im sure i didnt buy them, and my parents wouldnt dare (i get alot of stick for apprently looking like harry potter) so im thinking it was my brother.
dirtying up my games collection with that monstrosity, the third one no less!
sitting next to lord of the rings all happy go lucky

and youre just jelous (tazzalar) because metroid is so much better than anything that any other console companie can come up with.

Now Halo... okay. I would pay someone to tell me one thing that Halo has over every other FPS except for "teh prettiness".

Weapons selection = bad
The different VS. modes = horrible
The distinct lack of character customation = worst in a FPS (yay! I can change my colour)

Physics were good, but really, that doesn't make a game... at all.

Sure it's the best selling sequel, but really, how many decent sequels are the for the XBox, games even?

I don't think Halo is that bad it may not be the greatest thing since.... *thinks*.....velcro, but it was as a whole a very memorable game among quite a few not so memorable FPS's... and was for me more accessable as i am not a hardcore FPS kinda person.

Why should Metroid die? Metroid Prime is quite possibly the best game I have ever played. And Mario rocks! Even the spinoffs are fun. Espcially Mario Tennis and Golf. I would cry my eyes out if Metroid or Mario ever died.

Yah, Halo is a decent game, it's just it was way too overrated, especially Halo 2, I don't why everyone loved it, I just found that it was too like the original, and I didn't really like the first one! In my school newspaper, when I reviewed Halo(for Xbox), I gave it a 6.7/10. The sequal, would probaly be 5.7/10, but for the PC, I would give Halo a 8.7/10, I liked it better for PC.

Whats wrong with the EA sports games? Even if you like ESPN's better, at least the EA sports games make ESPN price theirs fairly(unless when EA sports buys out all the football game rights... )
