Ok I have a painfully obvious question. IF you can't find the item by searching neopets how are you supposed to know if they are a rarity 99 or 100 or what rarity they are at all?!

I don't get how you're supposed to find the number of days it takes to eat the chocolate from the calories... surely that would depend on your age and metabolism (in terms of feeding it to your neopet, it would certainly depend on how full they were already on the first day)

You missed the part where it says Skarl can only eat 600 calories a day. ;)

ty kess :)
LC says "chocolate" - does this include chocolates and chocolatey ? if you are counting chocolates , i would think chocolatey would also have to count.

if you are counting chocolates and chocolatey i have found 393 items. with 7 unknown rarities

Why is Lenny Conundrum always updated at the same time each week? For those of us in the U.K. who are eight hours behind Neopian Standard Time, there is little to no chance that we shall ever have a chance of submitting one of the first 250 entries, because we are in bed at 2:00am! - Mr_yoda_003
The Lenny Conundrum updates whenever we make Thursday's news live. This should be midnight, but it doesn't always work out that way. There is no set time, its just as close to midnight as we possibly can. If we have something complicated going live that day, we may update the site later. Regardless you should have lots of opportunities to enter. The earliest it will go live is 12.01am Neopian Standard Time on that date, which is 8.01am for you in the UK.

"Make sure you take into account all chocolate items on the site, and their rarities, as of the time of the judging of this conundrum, probably sometime next Wednesday."

Clever!
Though they'll probably introduce the chocolates at night too o__O (I live in Finland so I have the same problem)

Yeah. See what I told you?? 8) New chocolates...grr I don't feel like doing this one, but that means the few people that MIGHT get it will be rich. :x

I have a feeling this will turn out to be one of those super-hard, semi-random ones where like only 30 ppl will get the prize.

Ok i think i'm going to give up on this one. Unfortunately I just now got throught the first printed page of the neoitems list and as I was glancing through it I noticed that the books and everything else aren't on it.

They've updated the list several times.

My current total of items is 394, including:
2 items that are unsearchable on the shop wiz, but have been spotted in the distant past
1 item that is searchable on the shop wiz but no one has it in their shop, nor is there any in trades
5 items that were announced in the news for Chia day that apparantly weren't activated because they can't be searched for on the shop wiz.
1 item that seems to be a red herring, invented by someone to throw people's counts off.

So... minus those items, and if perchance no new chocolate items are introduced, or retired (bumping their rarity up to 180) by tuesday, I am going to assume that the 385 active, searchable items I have are all there is and submit my answer based on that.

The total of all those rarities, multiplied times 3 to get the total number of calories, devided by 600 calories/day. Now I'm also assuming that skarl can eat say, half of an item in one day to max out his 600 calories/day limit. otherwise it may take a lot longer. Fer instance, he's eaten 5 rarity 99 items (6 x 99 = 594 calories) but the only items he has left are all rarity 50 or greater... so he has to leave off at 594 and wait till the next day to eat more, see? That makes the solution a whole 'nuther ball game.

I don't mind confirming the rarities of certain items or people's guesses for the solution, but neomail me at my acount (ickessler), because I don't always think to check my PM's here on the forum.

I think this LC is more math-intended than logic-intended. Just have the total calories divised on 600, and keep the leftovers for one day.

This sucks, I'm dropping out of this one. But what sucks the most is the few that get this one are going to be rich. :(

I'm skipping this one. I know I could solve it, I'm just way too lazy for this kind of puzzle
