For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

IMO, i think it would be better if you just picked the game and the score...or are we doing a democratic type of thing?

I could pick the game, but I don't want to accidentally set the score too high.

maybe you could pick the game and we could do what urthdigger did in his guild and whoever gets the highest score that week would win

Ok. Who wants it done the way Urthdigger's Guild had it?

Meee. I reckon it should be open to all but it has to be advertised somewhere where all the people who play Neopets avidly (sp?) on here can see ti otherwise there will only be a few players.

Maybe we could post the BTY challenge in General Chat the first time, to get everyone to notice, then move it to the games forum from then on? Mods?

I think we should be able to since this IS neopets related. I agree with you Chao.

I think thats a good idea Chao. If it gets approval (sp? heh) you should go for it! Can;t wait for it to start. I reckon one round should last 1 week.

Although the contest is a neopets contest, it is still a contest, and it belongs in NNV. Feel free to advertise the game over there, as long as you don't verge on spam, however. (For example,. at the bottom of each of your posts, you can put "Come to NNV for a BTY contest!)

When is round 1 going to start?

Heh, glad my idea is making waves. I'll add the ad to my sig right now. Also, I think we should probably pick a game without a very definite high score (i.e. one that doesn't end). Dubloon Disaster and other games where it's possible to beat any score through sheer persistence shouldn't be chosen either.

How about....Korbats Lab?
If you manage to get to the last level, which takes at least an hour, I think, it's a matter of endurance. Theres one never-ending block that you have to keep hitting. Two korbats also inhabit the level.
Seems like a pretty good choice to me.

How about the Igloo Garage Game?
