maybe buying a petpet from the wintery petpet shop, or buying something from a shop on terror moutain or happy valley ,feeding your pet something wintery , playing with a winter toy , reading it some kind of winter book?? just ideas lol

Hmm, I don't like this. Sometimes it takes us days to work out how to get a new avatar - but we've only got 24 hours (if that) to unlock a sidebar. I hope they realise this and make it easier to work out because of it, otherwise there'll be sidebars that no one gets :/

Well if it helps, here's what I've tried so far:

attaching a Polarchuck to a Blumaroo
attaching a Snow painted petpet to a Blumaroo
Looking at the pet lookup of a Christmas Pet(with Christmas petpet).
Taking the Christmas pet to visit the Weather Page, and the Terror Mountain weather.
Taking the Christmas pet to Happy Valley, Ice Caves, and the top of the mountain.
looking at the Pet Lookup of a Snow painted pet.
going to every place in Happy Valley
visiting everywhere in the Ice Caves
visiting everywhere on top of Terror Mountain
feeding a snow food to a pet(which, BTW, I rs'd from the snow shop)
sending a Chinese New Year's greeting
Typing in
Let It Snow!, Happy Valley, & Terror Mountain
visiting the gallery from Gallery Spotlight
Visited in Neopedia: The Snowager, The Snow Faerie, & Simon and the Snowager

Well i wouldn;t bother trying that - i just beat HAIC and didn't get it. I wasn't going for the sidebar - just a trophy

I'd kinda like to know why no art gallery today...I know I entered a winter polarchuck on a snow background...and I'm sure I'm not the only one that's entered winter type pictures...that's so frustrating to me
