Besides how to unlock it, I'm wondering what advantages it gives. Remember when they said each sidebar would give different advantages and such? I hope they added something interesting with this one.

Also, has anyone received neomail, neofriend requests, trading messages, etc. with this sidebar yet? I'd like to see how those icons have changed for the wintery theme.

I can't imagine it being a random event.

You may notice a slightly different side bar. Everyone will have this bar for the whole of today, and if you can figure out how, you can unlock this bar to use any day or the year.

Notice that they said "figure out how". From that I'd say it's something WE have to do, not a random event.

I'm going to try a few different things, if Neo can manage to stay up long enough.
