I can only seem to count 7 tenta on it though, lol.

There be nine. You have to count at the points of all the tentacles to see 9.

They're never going to have every pet in every color, it would mean literally millions and millions more combinations.

Not really, there are 50 colours(not counting 4 basic, Usuki, Quicki or Fruit Chia...Also counting both royal genders), there are 49 pets.

50*49=2450 different ones. Now how many colour combinations are there already? So the number is less than 2000, not in the millions.

Oooh. First post in a long while... HeHe.

Anywho...

Okay, that's a fair enough suggestion. But the point is that TNT really have covered a lot of those colours. And for those that haven't been done already, there are pet days (and there's usually a couple of new colours there) and theme days (so you can expect a couple new Grey pets come April 14).

You also have to remember that a lot of thought has to go into certain colours... otherwise the poor pet comes off looking like some utterly ridiculous cross between a dog and squid *cough*

So, I don't see it as a bad thing for TNT to introduce new species, because no matter what happens, the painting of pets is an ongoing process. It happens over time and, eventually, we'll probably end up with more pets in the realm of the Aisha and Chia when it comes to colours.

Finally the Royal Kobat has been found! I love the male version better than the girl version.

The female version...doesn't really look like a female to me. I think they should have gone with longer hair or something because it just isn't doing anything for me. The male is better of the two.

I haven't liked many royal pets, but the korbats are fantastic.

And I think the maraquan gelert is disturbing. I guess they couldn't get around that though. There's no good way to make a dog look aquatic.

Well I think it's horrible - it just looks so clumsy to me - argh - the bottom half doesn't go with the top half and there are too many thin little tentacles, and argh I just think it's awful :/

But then I never did like Gelerts :P

Just when I was growing attached to the Maraquan Gelert I went out to look at some poses. And blergh, I dislike it again.

Image
It looks like a normal dog! Well as close to normal as a purple, spotted, extra limb dog next to some bubbles as you can get. Doesn't have that underwater flow to it as the Draik or the Buzz.

I have to agree with you there. It looks like its struggling to swim, or its desperately trying to reach something
