* A new Random Contest has begun. Thank you to everyone who entered last week's competition. This week we are asking you to create your own avatar!

* The Toy Shop is now selling sets containing everything you need to knit a pair of socks, scarf, gloves and a wooly jumper.

* You can now choose from ten different backgrounds when you play Meerca Chase II.

* The new edition of the Neopian Times has just come out. Look out for articles like Slorgerize Your Way To An Avatar and Vegetables: Friend or Foe?.

* This week's Neohome Spotlight award has been given to Mordebu, owner of 68396 Fruity Path, Mystery Island.

* Aww isn't this Baby Bori cute!

* A Buzz called Freetzie37 has just walked away with the last Pet Spotlight trophy of the week - congratulations.

* The Food Shop has just got some delicious fresh Pomegranites and some Pomegranite flavoured goodies in stock.

* There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was Rancid Old Meat. 1,027 people guessed the correct answer earning 1,948 NP each.

* A new page of Testimonials from people who have purchased Neopets products has just been added.

* Whoever thought Blumaroos were silly and cute had obviously never seen a Tyrannian Blumaroo...

* A new round of the Beauty Contest is about to begin.

* Can you think of something witty to say for this weekend's Caption Contest?

* There are some new pictures for you to look at in the Art Gallery. Also, next week we will be having a Harris special, so make sure you send in your Harris themed pictures.

I'm REALLY getting annoyed...

Does anyone else here regularly apply to the Neopian Times?
If so, have you gotten rejection letters the last 3 (maybe 4) weeks?

I haven't.... I've been trying to submit the same article for over two months now and I'm getting royally annoyed...

For the random contest, does anyone know what TNT wants us to put in description? Do they want us to create a way to get the avatar or just write something about it?

In the news today it said you can get the avatar from Meerca Chase II but I didn't. Did you raise the score or something? My score was 864 and in Meerca Chase 1 it just had to be 750. - Stephanie9795
Since you can get higher scores in Meerca Chase II, we decided to raise the avatar score to 1250 or more.

at least i got the avatar early
