 o_O  :( :o

No way can I even try this. Way over my head o_O

Well, I'm still not happy about these silly Engineering Units on things ... but I guess my answer is as good as it can be. It was fun to have a quasi-physics problem, though.

I don't think there is any possibilities of hints, as well ... since I'm not even sure about my derivation, since it assumes a couple of things that aren't given. (which could very easily not be the case.) I'd try google ... and just hope TNT used the same formula as you. :)

Good luck people. See you tomorrow for the mystery pic.

I think I need to take a Google class..

o_O

the google thing makes you work out things like do you type in 850^4 exactly like that or do you work it out and what is parietal length lol

*grumbles angrily at self for sleeping through physics in high school* :x

its really not as hard as it looks if you google it. but don't feel bad if you dont get it. i'm an engineer and i still had to look up the formula. cant really give any hints other than looking for a formula on google, one of the sites even lets you plug in the information and it will calculate for you. good luck.

Im feeling half dumb half smart... smart becuase I solved it. Dumb because I could have solved it an hour sooner if I had asked me dad(an architect)

I just need to know: what does ^ mean?

Fri Jan 07, 2005 2:02 am

the ^ sign stands for exponents. :)

if it says 1^3 it means 1 to the 3rd power.

Fri Jan 07, 2005 2:03 am

x^y means x to the y power.

Thanks. Do I convert the feet to inches?

Four words:

Best. Lenny. Conundrum. Evar.

Gosh that's awesome. \M/ (·¸·)\M/ TNT.

It means exponents, ie:
5^2 = 5 * 5
5^4 = 5 * 5 * 5 * 5

If someone has come up with an answer, feel free to PM me with a "X0,000X" number (Or something), Id like to check up with my answer. (Though I will probably not answer until ~12 hours, since im going to bed now..)

A little
Hint: Remember to convert feet into inches when calculating!

Well now would be a good time for me to not be in 6th grade, eh? I'm not even going to TRY this one x_x

Fri Jan 07, 2005 2:37 am

im only in grade 8, but i get my gr. 10 brother to help me, he's a total nerd in math, he's in the grade 11 enriched class
