possible glitch?

i put a grarrl in the pound today (his name is i_eat_hasees if you want to take a look), but before i did, i equipped him with three snowballs, as a small present to whoever adopted him.

i just went to my inventory, and there are the three snowballs! is this a new thing or a glitch?

Equipped items are removed when you disown a pet.
Edit: With the exception of a few, some of which I can't recall right now.

That sucks, but you can equipt a petpet i think and still adopt one with it.

They don't remove Jhudora's bewitched ring or whatever. A couple of other bdome items like that too, because they're normally unremovable...

Items like that are actually deleted if you disown the pet, I think.
