Well, my grandmother was born in Mexico City, so pretty heavy Spanish for me. And my other grandmother is of Norwegian descent.

Heh, speaking of last names, I know two friends whose ancestors immigrated from China and had their last names...changed by accident, you could say. "Shi" turned into "Hsi" due to a typing error (I think...) and "Man" turned into "Van" due to a misspelling. Both of my friends have had to keep their last names in this state.

Born in Denver. My Dad had, lessee... German, J.A.P. (Jewish American Princess... the Princess in there is sarcastic), scottish, and, hrm, lots of other ethnicities mixed.
My Mom's Italian-Irish-Polish-Californian-English and a few other things.
And erm, Someone in there's part Mongolian, because I had a temporary birthmark which is seen in babies with mongolian descent. But neither parent could figure that out.

Both my parents are Chinese. Dad's from Shen'yang, Mom's from Xi'an, and romanizing placenames is a pain in the butt because no one's consistent. Both speak like CCTV reporters without the goofy tonecolour, so I know of no regional dialects. [Not that my Mandarin is up to par..]

Well, I'm from Scotland. My mum's side has lived in Scotland for as long as I can remember, but I'm sure there's been a couple of English people in the line before. Similarly, my Dad has been Welsh.

I'm half Irish, half Polish.
My dad is all Irish. My last name, which is Irish, also has had a few letters cut out of it from the original spelling. My mom is all Polish, so yeah, I'm half and half. ^^

My dad's family is all Iranian. If you ever heard of Farah Diba, that's my dad's cousin.
My mom's side is kind of weird. My grandfather is from Spain (we had castles or something in Asturias but sold them). My grandmother is from Ireland. We are the Beirne family and the Woods family.
And I am Floridian.
