You should definitely get one -- the chats are great and we all help each other out. Last time everyone who was in the chat when we solved it got some kind of prize (I got the avatar and a mystery fruit bowl).

I wasn't around for the first dinner plot, though (or I didn't participate in it; I'm not sure which). Are the clues released all at once and then you can solve it as soon as you work them out, or are they released a couple at a time over a period of a few days?

In the Mystery Island puzzle, clues were released a few at a time over a couple of days. And they had one "secret" clue from a Neopedia article they released.
But, they also added 1 new category in the middle, which made things way more complicated.

Yeah, I was around for that one (like I said, I worked on solving it and got a prize) -- it's the usuper/feast thing I'm asking about. I assume this dinner plot will be similar to that one. Was it a several-day thing, too?

...Okay, just answered my own question: "every day we will release a new clue, until you have all the information you need to solve the mystery." So it's an ongoing thing. How many days did it take people to solve it?

I love logic puzzles..I solve them and create them for my guild all the time..alright..so I don't have much of a life..I don't use a complicated chart..just using graph paper will get you off to a good start if you have nothing else..Does anyone believe the userlook ups? I notice masila has an avie and is a trainee in Galem's guild..if they are to be believed as part of the plot..

I miss Magenta's update pages already. If anyone has their chart done, not filled in, could you take a screenshot of it and post it? I don't have any office type programs and I'd rather not draw one in crayon on construction paper.

neo was down before I woke up, so I never even got to see the news. Was there a link to an original story yet? Some of you guys are posting about favorite avatars, so I imagine there was something before the site went down...

It's set up like the usurper game -- they gave us a bunch of characters (criminal guildmasters) who are having a dinner, and we have to figure out what each of them ate, what their big secret is, what their favorite neoboard avatar is, and what their specialty (gem thief, card shark, etc.) is. The clues are going to be released over a few days, probably.

Does anyone have the list of chars, foods, etc? I want to make my little chart thingy while Neo is down. Also there's an IRC chat we could go to talk in - #restock on dalnet. It's usually for restock chat (obviously ^^;;) but I think it could serve a good purpose for this!
