I've moved like 1000 times in neoquest II well I've been playing and I still haven't got one random event today.

Yes, that's exactly right. It works the same with people. I've been alive for 18 years and 9 months, hence I'm 18 years old, but I'm currently in my 19th year of life. And, since I've only been alive more than 18 but less than 19 years, I have only had 18 birthdays. On Jan 21st I will celebrate my 19th birthday and enter the 20th year of my life. Make more sense now?

In about 10-20 minutes, I've gotten two...one where they stole a junk item, and another where my neopet said something stupid...
