I got extremely lucky I think. Many times, I sent items from my side account to my main account for faerie quests.
I also sent 2 Portable Kilns to my side account because I thought I was getting hacked, then send it right back to my main account. Turns out I was refreshing on the detach item screen.
Maybe it might be because my accounts were 50 months and 49 months old. Or maybe I just sent during an off time. Or maybe I didnt make my 2 accounts neofriends when I sent the items.
Anyone know how long Automated Responses from the contact form take? I'm still patiently waiting.

Secretdude, I had an account frozen - fell for the old fake log in page

... it took about 2 months before I heard anything. Yes, I did get the account back and by then I had started another which is now my main account. Was just too confusing to switch (though now I wish I had).
I have sent some pricy items to my gallery account also (as most people with galleries on a secondary account do) - but that is a subaccount of mine; I use the TP, set up a trade on the gallery account and in the wishlist say that it is for my gallery. I don't use the send to neofriend unless it's something small - omelettes for my pets there, toys, inexpensive gallery things. But I never just send anything from my gallery to my main account using the send to neofriend. And the trades I set up to support the gallery are "junk" trades - not stuff from freebies/dailies, just like toys I've bought on my main and sent over.
From things I've seen and read (and the T&C) problems can arise when you're either sending an expensive item (or something from a RE even) from another account to your main (using more than one account to earn np) or in the case of more than one person having a Neopets account - someone sending something from their main account to the other person's main account.
The person I share the computer with has sent me a few smaller things (via the TP) to my gallery as like, a birthday or yule gift - but never ever anything to my main account and never anything from my main account to her account (she only has one, wise person).

I really wish that they would send out a basic message saying that they recieved your submission and a time-line on when you could expect a reply. Even the auction house has an indicator of how long you can expect to wait to have and auction finalized. Why not frozen reports?
A rejection letter for those who will remain frozen would be ever so conciderate.

They all (neopets staff) seem overwhelmed by other things they are doing. Where are the staff that are excusively for dealing with such problems? I would like to think that they care and that your problem matters to them.

I know. This board seemes to have turned into a major complaint center. I kinda like it that way, people who are troubled huddling together here for the warmth of mutual suffering. Ok, that was corny. Nice to see ya on today, Cloe. Is your brother still frozen?

Yea. He gave up and moved on to astropets or something like that. You, a promenent citizen and major helper of the people, who actually was told she should be able to acess her account; and still frozen; I guess he just lost faith. The slow slow response to the forms really really sucks.

That is really sad.

Yes, especially since he took your advice and adopted neopets, zapped them into more attractive pets, and then put them up for adoption again. That is about all he did besides dailies and chatting.

Yes. A lot of good samartians get frozen every day. Especailly if they are helpful on neoboards.

The neoboards are evil though, everyone knows it's a bad idea to go there.

The neoboards definitely exposes you to the neopublic. People can view your look up, your shop, and what you have in trades. This can make you a target for scams, harassment, and even false accusations that will get you frozen. Although your shop and items for trade and auctionc an do the same, they do not produce the same results en masse like posting in neoboards. It's just palin easier to find 'marks' in the neoboards.

Love ya using the term 'mark' which means target. he he he. Conngrats on the Tonu. I would get one but... four pets already!

I't not as good as my Maraquan Grarrl with the same name as my username! But, I like him

Another thread about being frozen has a new staff e-mail address listed in it.
Mon Nov 08, 2004 9:48 pm
I noticed. Shot off a letter to him as well. It didn't come back, so it is still an active e-mail. I still think that staff may be blocking out unsolisited e-mails because they get flooded with them.
