I still haven't gotten an answer from the darn auto-forms. I wonder if they are broken!

Fri Nov 05, 2004 11:17 pm

I guess it seemed odd talking about people trying to get unfrozen and people mooching for answers as if they were the same :P

I was just saying the influx of people due to good press. Toolbar testing. Nascarfan being unfrozen. Members sporting shiny trophies for Mystery Picture Competition. Maybe PPT is starting to look like prime scamming grounds.

I said it before and I will say it again...

I would gladly face large fines or even the confiscation of all my million neopoints just to have my account back and my pets to play with!

I don't mind the newbies. If they are not lagit, they will not be tolerated here. If people stick to hints, they will ask elsewhere. I plan on keeping REALLY GOOD secrets in PMs to friends but have no problems helping people with basic, and not so basic, things that everybody should know.

I agree. I think a fine/warning/temporary ban system is the route to go. Particularly since Neo caters to kids who aren't always mature enough to think the consequences through if they send a chain letter or give gifts away on the boards, etc. --things that are minor infractions.

However, I do think if someone is caught scamming or cheating or displaying porn (which I have seen on more than one occasion)--and the evidence is clearly there to support it--their account should be taken away forever.

Eh, I think give-a-way boards are just another form of teaching people to beg instead of earning it themselves, but thats just me ;)

I agree with that with one exception. If a person is scammed and another person does such on thier account. I have heard and seen scammers post unappropriate words and pictures to get an account frozen to cover thier crimes. So all accounts should be frozen for such a display, there should be a way to recover the account for the victim.

EDIT: I like sharing things with friends, but I usually stick to people I know in real life or people I have talked to for awhile and have swapped helping hints with. I give anonymously to people I don't know.

Whoa. PPT was down for awhile. I missed you. So, are you going to create another account, send a snail mail to neopets, or what?

Sun Nov 07, 2004 2:31 am

*sigh* I dunno. I may create another account, but then I would only close it down when I get mine back.

Sun Nov 07, 2004 2:45 am

So, are you just gonna keep using matt's spare for now?

Sun Nov 07, 2004 2:55 am

Ok. Ya twisted me arm. My new account is now plaquenil. I created a pet and adopted one. First off, I found a rainbow petpet brush ont he floor. I fel better.

I'll send you a TON of stuff to get back on your feet. Ok, I'll send you a bunch of junk and a few good items. It should put 50k in the bank for ya! :D

Sun Nov 07, 2004 4:03 am

Please, no need to send me things. I can easily reach 100K in a few weeks. I am very good at playing the games and buying/selling for a profit. I can be up to 1 million again in no time! Ok ... in half a year maybe.

Stampsyne, still nothing? Ohhh, it drives me crazy when I'm trying to get an answer and the support person I've emailed with never gets back to me! Have you tried sending a snail mail letter or faxing one with a copy of the email from the Support person? A fax would get there quick, though I don't have the number. I'm sure it's on either the site or the press kit.

I was frozen *about* a week ago, they said i was 'using multiple accounts to obtain neopoints'

they frozen my sister too, prolly cause i gave her a Starry P/B as a gift so she could paint her cybunny o_O;;

ah well, she and i restarted, we STILL didnt get a response from TNT
T-T

she got a great start with 450k though, TCG redeem codes, looooonnnngggg story ;)

Plushie - you were both frozen after you sent a pb? Did you send it from your main account to your sister's main account? On the same computer? Using the "send to neofriend"? If yes to those, then that explains the "using multiple accounts ... " thing. I've talked to a few people that's happened to. The one I remember (for some reason, guess cause it made me so sad) - a mom bought and sent her son a pb last year for Christmas as a present, and used the send to neofriend so it would really be a surprise. The surprise was that both accounts were frozen for the same reason as you and your sister. It was the mom's main account and her son's main account, and obviously they were using the same computer.

There are 2 people who use this computer for Neopets. We don't have/can't afford 2 computers, 2 ISPs, etc., we do have our own accounts, different emails, and we did write to TNT last year before Advent - her first one. We wanted to alert them that there were 2 people with accounts so they wouldn't think anything "fishy" was going on. I'm wondering if I should write to them this year, just to remind them that there are 2 people who will be going to the Advent calendar. ... I've also told her that there is to be nothing sent from her account to me or vice versa, which she didn't understand at first, we both love to give prezzies and surprises to each other and our friends. But after seeing people have this problem of being frozen for being nice, and explaining it that way to her, she understood. We don't like it, but that's the way it is.

Do write in, explain the entire situation, give the emails, etc.

I dunno. My friend sent a ton of HIGH PRICE stuff to her gallery account. Oh, but she never played games on the gallery account. Both were frozen when mine was, I think.
