In no way does it say to send in photos of a carved pumpkin. It doesn't say that it dissallows drawn pictures of pumpkins. So there was no need to get snarky.
As someone already mentioned theres more then one way to carve a pumpkin.
However, i'd like to point out that General chat is not a place to show your art. We have an art gallery for that.

...I guess either drawn or real entries are acceptable, but I just got done carving my son's pumpkin tonight, and boy was it a lot of work. I forgot how tough it was and time consuming to carve a pumpkin.
