1000 posts doesn't seem like too significant of an amount anyway, considering how many people reached that milestone in the old forum (I do believe it was almost 300 or more?). Make it something people have to earn, haha. ;P

Also, keeping it at 1000 gives it a sense of nostalgia for the old PPT.
I say... if anyone spams in order to get to 1000 posts so they can be on it, that it'll automatically deem them inelegible for the list.

But it would take a VERY long time for people to reach 1000 posts. I mean, I only have about 440 posts, and I'm on quite a lot. Like I have said before, only active users should be allowed to be in a new PPT Dictionary Of Mythology. The cut-off could be 500 posts but they must not have spammed to get to that many posts but they MUST BE ACTIVE!

We all had to work our way to 1000 the first time. Making it at 1000 makes it more special.
And even though I have 700 something posts, even if I only had 200, I'd still feel the same way.

For me, you're correct. It took me over half a year to reack a k the first time. I don't want to have to wait that long if I know that there's another mythology thing being made while I'm struggling. If the cutoff were 1000, I would definitely care about my post count a lot more than I do now. And I'd be sad. *puppydog eyes*

It'd take me years to get a thousand posts again, I post in three boards usually, Misc discussion, Misc Polls and PPT Guys, and even then, I'm extremely picky to what I actually post on. But I'm not worrying about PPT Mythology, but I still think one thousand posts is too much.
