More new dialogue today:

Fyora: You say they turned into Neopets?!
Aethia: I couldn't believe my eyes either, but it looked like they were pets cursed to become wraiths...or whatever those poor things are now.
Fyora: That certainly explains how they got past the barrier spell! But we need to figure out how to lift the curse and cure them.
Aethia: There's no way we can approach them while they're wraiths. Taelia's magic seems to weaken the curse considerably – enough to reveal their true forms, but not quite restore them to their former selves.
Taelia: If you can bring them to me once they’ve transformed, I can nurse them back to health.
Aethia: Is there no way to do this without hurting the pets?
Fyora: If I can get to the source of this dark magic, I should be able to reverse its effects.
Taelia: We can try talking to the pets once they’ve recovered. They might be able to shed more light on this.

I didn't receive that dialogue today, nor did quite a few others, but it is a repeat of the Nov 18 dialogue (with a part of the first sentence removed, because it didn't make sense). It seems that it was released too early back then and makes much more sense now.

I am hoping that it updates new for everyone tomorrow.

I think the problem lies in the fact that TNT don't always update at midnight. Those of us that check straight away don't get the re-newed HQ page until the next day.

I'm lost already. I see the chest at the HQ but can't unlock any BD challenger.

All the word puzzles are different numbers of letters and it seems to randomize upon every Reset.

The formatting seems sucky. I wondered if I should switch browsers but all the ones I used are Chrome-based and really don't want to install something unfamiliar.

using notepad with no word wrapping with about six refreshed versions of the 'puzzle' each version on a separate line ( copy, paste )

there's a guide somewhere with similar directions...

the keyword finally became visible; before even finishing spelling that out, the faerie caught on and i was prompted to the next stage or phase.

* the next phase, they 'fixed' the notepad solution.

there were attempts to write out each note and attempt to find a useful pattern to follow via the word puzzle.
a pattern was eventually useful, and whoa! another location

* a spreadsheet was used to view several different combinations of call and response for the notes mentioned earlier. i was uncertain how useful that activity was though.

that seemed to almost help.

There's (truly) new dialogue, and a new step to do.

Shoyru: And say what? We don't know what it is – or what it even looks like! We don't know what it was doing here. We have no concrete information.
Skeith: I am NOT going to look for it!
Shoyru: We'll stay safe, I promise!
Skeith: Look, this is stupid! No!
Shoyru: You're just scared! Come on!
Skeith: *sigh* This is a bad, bad, bad idea...

Click on the bridge to Kaia's right. You'll go into some woods. I went left all the way, until I got a "follow the sound" and then I was too late, and a hooded figure was off in the distance. Apparently if you go the wrong way, you can come back and try later? I'm not 100% sure how exactly it works.

There don't appear to be any achievements for this at this time.

A very easy step. I went RRR for my path. Everything the same as Pickles.

If you miss the cloaked figure, you will get a time-out of 2 hours. Then you can cross the bridge and try again.

Once you find the cloaked figure (and be too late), the bridge is no longer active.

* If anyone is interested in NC items, the Deathball Wraith is dropping Mysterious Cyan Coffer, which you need to buy a key for from the Mall.

It awards one of the following and if you use more than 1 you will get a different item.

Paranormal Forest Background

I decided to follow the same path except for the last fork (so RRL):

Uh oh... It looks like you can't go any further. You better return to the headquarters before it gets dark.

I wonder if the messages at the bottom change and give you a clue (like the Moltara worm caves).

I think I have worked out that the background images gives you a clue. A broken column on the path will point left or right. There is an image that doesn't show any column marker but it seems that either direction works.

Thanks Daze. The two fallen column in the first step pointed right, so I went Right. Then there was only 1 column pointing right, so I went Right. In the 3rd, there was a fallen column pointing left, so I went left... and got the same message as Siniri.

*sigh*

Aww Blue. Sorry! Did you check out my guide to see the columns I meant? There should only be one column to point the way and one of the screens wont have any.

I thought I followed the guide last time. I tried it again this time, and I managed to get to the "follow the sound" spot, and the alleged cloaked figure running in the distance. Perhaps if I had been a little faster, I might have reached them in time to find out...
