I hope top prize=rank 20... I don't have time to play any more than that anyway. That's still a big time commitment, and it's not like people who play a lot more won't be rewarded, because obviously they'll get the top prize and still have points left over for other things.

...erm for the record, a lot of the painted pets that are not soposte to have feet do.
I know, the off-model sprites have been bugging me - just not enough to rant about until, you know, fish in boots...
My pet peeve is actually Jair Tollet's feet. I have a Maraquan Eyrie myself and it weirds me out. Especially when the latest official Cup 'story' is about Jair Tollet 'stutter-stepping', accompanied by a picture in which she blatantly DOES NOT HAVE ANY FEET TO STEP WITH.
And another thing. Since when was she a he??

Kep Bonnefie from Darigan Citadel got a similar gender mix-up. Guess TNT has a tendency to forget their given genders. (Either that or the players decided to use a strange potion) lol
If you look closely Jair Tollet is also still in her Maraqua jersey. They should be more careful with recycling images. XP

Well, last year's top prize cost 25,000 points. With 2,000+ games, and the strange way this point system works, you should have enough points for it. That is assuming, of course, that you did get a fair number of goals in each game, since goals do appear to count for points.

A sweep for Shenkuu against HW!
I didn't think we'd do it, last time we lost in YYB and drew in the other two- so we've improved a bit relative to them!

I was quite surprised at the sweep- HW is a tough opponent. Hope we keep this going, we may get into the final four... *fingers crossed*

Wow, I wasn't expecting that! I even contemplated running back to the computer at 11 last night to send a few more last-minute scores, but I guess I didn't need to.

May I use that if I write to the editorial?
End of the first round robin, and there are
six teams seriously competing for two positions in the final four. Who do we think will make it?

Tomorrow will be a decisive match for Shenkuu- last time we met LD, we drew in YYB, so it's not a foregone conclusion that we're going to lose, but obviously they are ranked higher than us.

Definitely. Tomorrow will be interesting. I'm curious to see how the fact that it's a holiday effects the matches tomorrow. I'm sure that will do something to the participation levels.

It's not a holiday everywhere- not for me. I'll probably play my usual sixty games.

True, I tend to assume that the majority of players are from the US.
Although I do know quite a few Canadians that play as well. *shrug*

I'm from the UK.
I'm a student though, so you could say every day is a holiday!

This has been on my mind since the first Altador Cup.
Do all games played count towards my score? That is, if I have 10 loses and 0 wins, will I still be getting points? I happen to stink at this game.
EDIT: And if I actually look at the links provided in the first post, I find my answer right in front of me.

I'm also from the UK. Not all English-speakers are from North America.
I didn't even know it was a holiday until I read the Neopets news. Although it's probably true that US players
do form the majority, so perhaps the day off will make some difference.

Hey! What are you saying about us students exactly? Are you suggesting we don't all spend our whole summer absorbing the contents of next year's textbooks?!
JellySoup wrote:I happen to stink at this game.
Hopefully you found the answer to your question, but can we help you with your goal-scoring?
