Lulz fail! I didn't even get past the code breaking, cause the plot finished in the middle of my last 3mod. I didn't find this plot as amazing as I thought it'd be... hm. I did like the story, but didn't feel connected, as many people have said. Hm.

So I guess that those who did not get past the 3 mod but fought the battledome opponents did get points for their fights. That's good to know. I still say that putting the codebreaking all under one step while spreading out the others is bogus, but I guess, as others have pointed out, it was in response to the calculators...c'est la vie

Remember, each of the steps is worth a different amount of points. It could be that the codebreaking is worth much more than the Series of Tubes (each step of which was 1200 points).

Heh, considering featheralley didn't do the codebreaking or testing and got a fair number of points, I'd definitely hafta concur.

However, it appears that if you didn't get through any of the puzzles, but did battle, you were not credited with any points. So it did require that you at least did some of the first plot part.

I'm feeling somewhat better about my scores - though I'm still slightly bummed about them having win limits again. {dreams of the next real war where win limits are non-existent} You'd think though, that if they were going to impose limits, they wouldn't have left the challengers up for so long. Ah, well.

We did figure there were going to be win limits, and I even remember people theorising that it would be 30. I do think that once you hit the limit, they should have said something though.

Side note, boy do I wish I could get Raz to the levels featheralley has...wow!

TNT are being unfair again. They should have awarded extra points to people who wokred on their decoding puzzles unlike those who simply used the calculator, it's been bugging me since the time the calculator came out. What annoys me more is how people show themselves so innocent as if they never knew that cheating or using other people/programs to do their work isn't cheating.

Oh crap! I just remembered that I left my car keys in the OTHER dimension...

Oh my god? Am i right to say that they didn't give any credit to people who just did the one and two mods and not touched 3? Cause my score is quite depressing considering i did well in the battling area..

Yay, 2nd best trophy :D Got win limits on the two easiest challengers, plus quite a few on the Garoo Elite Strike Commanders, had all the steps completed, and a couple of the coop steps. Pretty good considering :D

But you have to think, if TNT could tell who used the calculator, I'm sure most of those who used it would have been frozen. So in that case, there would be no calculator people still on the plot. The thing is, TNT couldn't and can't tell. While I agree with you that the calculator was and is wrong, there were people hwo did not know it was against the rules. As you know, the star maps for the Altador Cup were perfectly fine.

I wouldn't have minded that myself, but I'm not to sure how TNT works it. To do this, each mod would have been have to be counted as a separate step.

At some level I agree with you. I worked days on my mods and it's bit wry that people who used the calculator got the same amount of points. But people didn't know the calculators were against the rules. I would have probably used the calculator too if TNT hadn't put up the notice by the time I got on neo to do that step.

I'm generally pleased with my score, although the happier thing:

They credited players who were doing group testing and who had group members bail...
I had different numbers of completed tests for the three different components, because I would join a group and invariably we'd have a someone in the group who wouldn't bother to do anything (although I did, in fact, get a neomail that said, "Why you not ever wronggg?!?!?!?!?!?11?!?!?!?!?eleven?"

Or an approximation thereof. I sent the link for one of the guides back, and the person quit the table, which I figured meant I'd get no points.

It's good that that wasn't the case. Cheers to TNT for that one!

- Completed Steps -
I stopped at codebreaking; I did all the 1 & 2 mods and a couple of the 3 mods, but it was all too tedious, and i just thought the amount of energy and stress just wasn't worth it anymore. Sure wish they gave some credit for that, but I guess their little flash applet could only tell them if it was 'finished' or 'unfinished' and not how far along you got (compared to the other steps where each level had its own page).

- Battledome Victories -

Garoo Elite Junior Squadron: Wins: 60 WIN LIMIT!
Garoo Elite Strike Commanders: Wins: 5
Garoo Elite Specialist Riilan: Unfought
Mutant Grundo Scouts: Wins: 30 WIN LIMIT!
Virtupets Militia: Wins: 0
Primary Grundo Bot RZ894: Unfought
--> 'primary' grundo bot? were they planning a 'secondary' or 'tertiary'? for a sequel 10 years from now perhaps?

Still not bad; I could probably get some decent prize or two. Haven't even used up all my ToW points yet.

Yeah, I'm really hoping for an avvie and a sidebar.

I'm just hoping for some better Battledome equipment. The Makeshift Ships Hammer doesn't seem to help me much, not enough power I guess
