Little help? I've waited far too long to get to this plot, and I'm almost done with it. Have a little problem here though with finding my magic book. I've looked at both The Daily Neo and Arrazetti guides, double, triple, and quadruple checked my math for adding my coordinates together, and gone through the room that /should/ have my magic book in it about three times. None of the books are the magic book. Help!

I found it easier to tab through the books to make sure I clicked on every one. I also remember that sometimes, you could have multiple "correct" rooms -- my book was in the third room I checked (of course, I completed the plot while we were still trying to figure out the algorithm, so this might not apply any more). For example, sometimes at the end, you actually didn't need to add the digits together anymore... You'd just go to the higher numbered room.

If you want to post your calculations on here, someone could double-check them for you to confirm you're in the right room.

I'm exactly where Reinfire is.....stuck trying to find my correct room coordinates. I've only started this plot today and followed this guide:

http://www.neopets.com/~Arrazetti

I've completed everything perfectly up to and including the 12th constellation. I've followed word-for-word his guide to get to the archives room for my spell book. When I calculate my room coordinates, I come up with X = 15, and Y = 9. Am I correct?

The coordinates for the 6 stars in my *eyes* are as follows:

-224, 252
-184, 222
-144, 192
-104, 192
-64, 222
-24, 252

I get to that room and there are no books that are *clickable*. I've turned those numbers around every which way possible, gone beyond them, under them, etc. Nothing seems to make the books clickable. I've even gone to the link under the Archivist, that shows your completed steps...and everything is there just fine. I just can't seem to find the right room for the spell book. Can anyone help me?

FYI....I clicked on the link at the top for prizes and already got the trophy. I just came so far today, I hate to not complete this goofy thing.

Is this heaven? No......it's LUPE country !!

Lpcdobber, that's the right room. Have you tried highlighting the text above, then tabbing and hitting enter? The links are very small, so I found it easier to count the tabs to make sure I checked all the books.

You can pan around your sky chart and see how many constellations you already have. I think there was something about the gems lighting up above the hero statues, too (mine don't anymore, and it's been too long, so I'm not sure). Or you can go to the places where the constellations were first seen (in order) and see if you can see them. When you get to one you can't see, you still need to do that and all subsequent steps.

Also, you might perhaps try talking to the archivist lenny? He keeps a book, and you can figure out where you left off from the pages you've acquired.

Of course. The easy way. My ways are more fun, though.
My mom always said I like to go around my butt to get to my elbow.

Yes, it's definitely still open, and the walkthrough on the first page still works. Post again if you get stuck, and happy starhunting, BIGN.

They're never going to close it. It's the one Neopets plot that will stay open indefinitely.

I have a problem concerning the collector part, it says that we need to click on pictures of Libra in three shops in Altador, how long do we need to wait until we can see the picture? Does it requires a lot of time? And do we actually need to buy that item which have the sign libra on them?

MayEdit: Please post all topics concerning the Altador Plot in the Altador Plot Help thread stickied at the top of the board. Thank you :)

You should see the object with the scales on it immediately-- if you've got the right amount of money on hand.

Match your on hand NP to the current inflation rate (ignoring the decimal, i.e., 1.37% = 137 NP), and click on the object when it shows up.

You don't actually buy anything, so you don't actually get anything in your inventory, either.

Good luck!
