anyone else noticed that the neopets sometimes get angry towards the end of the did... anyone else get this?

Most likely and we'll get chased into the ruins of Neovia just intime for the ghosts to come out /or to find the rest of Sophie's family. I'm thinking because they were not in the square with the rest of the towns folk when the Spirit of Slumber was summoned.

I have been on np for 4 years now and I am totally surprised at how little I actually know about this game I play lol. I have been seeing pets while digging that I don't even know what they are. I think I will take a break from digging to look them up. I just dug with a marshmallow looking pet and earlier something with two heads and a pink sponge looking lupe. I guess I picked really common (or boring lol) paintbrushes, maybe I should look around and see what I have been missing.

They get angry if you click 'Dig' when it's not your turn. Doing it twice gets you booted out of the group.
