*sniggers*

I can't blame them for cutting it though....if I saw my kids watching that I'd probably make some weird faces myself. :P

I've heard subbed Pokemon is a lot better. It's a lot less kiddish is what I was told.

Except for...the epileptic seizure Porygon episode one and one other involving James in a swimsuit competition, I've heard they're practically the same.

Yeah..t-those... *shivers* That haunts me to this very day.

Kind of why I stick to dub or nothing..

I like subs better, but I can stand most dubs. Then, of course, I'm bored and watch it subbed, and like it better that way.

Wow, an anime only section. I haven't been here in awhile, obviously. :p

Anyway, I strictly watch subs, with the occasional raw anime thrown into the mix. For me, it's worth the eyestrain to avoid terrible dubbing. Many of the "good dubs" that I was told about were terrible, at least to me. Plus, I just love to read. ^_- I rarely watch originals, just when they're show on the International Channel sans subtitles, but it's kind of nice. It makes me attempt to apply the Japanese I've learned (received a minor in it). Of course, at school they mainly taught polite forms, so it's interesting trying to work out the casual Japanese that's used in anime.

Ditto for me. 4Kids killed TMM though.

I watch some subbed, but I like dubbed better. I hate having to focus on the writing at the bottom and then missing imporatant parts of the anime. ._.

Yes! That's my problem. I love to read the words because sometimes you just can't get everything when they are talking, but I feel like I am missing parts of the animation if I do so. Being artistically minded, I can't stand missing any of the animation. Tim always makes fun of me because I take so long to read manga. I make sure to look at every line and detail in the pictures though and often catch things that he might have missed. ;) lol

i enjoy dubbed more, for the fact that reading that text at the bottom draws my attention away from the action, and i can't really get an appreciation for the art. however, if there is no dubbed, subbed is perfectly fine. it feels more authentic, and yes, sometimes the company that licensed the American version goes a little too far on putting their own spin on the dubs...

RAW is just out of the question...due to the fact that the only phrase in Japanese i know is "thank you" (credits to Detective Academy Q - an anime that deserves twice the hype and recognition it receives)

Subbed. I can't undersand the original ones and the dubbed ones sound completely weird. Japanese sounds way better. :3

i watch both but prefer subbed...

dubbed is sometimes weird...

Subbed, if I can get it. The only un-dubbed animes I have ever seen were either loans from friends or rented without my mom's permission because she thinks anime is a bad influence.

-kicks self as a reminder to beg friends for the Shaman King manga-

I watch all three, but I prefer subbed becaause my Japanese is horrible and subbed is ok. I don't really mind watching it, even though its dubbed badly because if is--it's funny. Well, to me anyways. ^^

depends. Sometimes, it can hurt to know how terrible the acting is on our side. Other times, an anime is so good, you don't even need words to understand it... (My first episode of Sonic X was Japanese with no subs...)
