I think though that was the only odd inconsistant edit they showed, since after that they showed Iruka with the kleenex in his nose. It was bound to happen since I believe they did remove a nosebleed from the Tenchi OVAs when they were CN.

Overall, it wasn't that bad of a dub (of course I haven't seen the orignial so I haven't had the comparison besides some of the manga that was in Shonen Jump until I gave up on it.) I heard Kakashi on one of the commercial breaks, it wasn't that bad at all for the character.

The bloody nose gag was cut out because many american viewers, who don't know the japanese culture's reference to men having bloody noses when women they find hot is shown...wouldn't get it.

I give the dub two thumbs up. I've seen all the subs to 150 and read all the manga it 267, or whatever the recent one is.
I liek the voices and though I only heard Sasuke say one word so far, I like his voice. Sakura's voice is annoying, just like in the original. =P

Be proud Naruto got a PG rating. never has a non-AS anime got a PG rating on Cartoon network. Gundam Wing uncut is debatable,but naruto is PG and shown at 9pm, when the kiddies are still awake...so HA!

I just watched the first episode at 12:30pm, after watching Teen Titans.

Very good show. Second time watching a "real" anime (first being Tokyo Mew Mew, which was horribly killed by 4KidsTV *cough*), not a knockoff or some little kiddie anime like Digimon, even though I like Digimon.

I'll be watching the second episode tonight if I can. *nod*

Okay, I have a question for those of you who've watched Naruto uncut. In the third ep. is there a spot when he is glaring at Sasuke and the kid behind him bumps him and they kiss accidentally? If there was, that was cut out and just the reactions were left, which was very awkward and weird. lol I find it odd that they'd remove an accidental kiss scene, but leave an episode filled with diarrhea. lol

Yes, Naruto and Sasuke do accidentally kiss and the scene is shown in its full glory in the original version ^^

Anyway, the dub wasn't that bad at all. Some of the name pronounciations are off (judging by the trailer), but other than that, not bad at all. I missed the episode 3 dub, but I'm not surprised that they removed the Naruto/Sasuke kiss. Was anyone expecting them to leave it in, seeing when it airs?

I always liked Hinata. Sure she was weak. But I found her shyness to be adorable. I felt really bad for her though...she is only worth something to her father if she can fight well. I really liked this filler. I was glad to see that she was becoming someone who can be worthy of her clan.

I'm looking forward to the next filler arc. Team Gai rocks!
