Yum, metal. I love Metal.

My favorite band of the moment is Extol. But I pretty much listen to anything.

Since when was Led Zeppelin considered to be metal? :P

Anyway, the only "metal" I can stand is "Eagles of Death Metal", but that's more like roadtrip rock :D

Demon Hunter, He is Legend, Norma Jean...yes. <3

You like Norma Jean?! Good grief....

The Dilinger Escape Plan for me. Nothing like a bit of jazz metal. Haha.

I like a couple of metal bands. I hate Atreyu, though.

Atreyu are musical geniouses and the lyrics are very well written. "The Curse" stays their best album. The newer one isn't as good.

*Refutes this*
The Curse is their worst Album.
Although, I freely admit they are incredibly whiney.

Ever since 'Rock' got softer, and less amazing.

I can't believe this thread was on the first page. I must have made this months ago.

Hm? What ageism are you reffering to?

PS: Beethoven's third is actually amazing.

I meant the "Music sucks except the 80's / 70's/ 60's / delete as appropriate"

I hear enough of it from "metal heads" and suchforth for years, not to mention my dad. "Oh they're rubbish, everyones rubbish since Queen / Beatles"
Music changes, style changes, tastes change. Doesn't make it any less relevant than what you listened too.

And yes, Beethoven's third is rather good.
