I really hate those commercials where you can tell it's very scripted.

Oh. My. God.
That KFC commercial.
With the coworkers singing with their mouths full.
I want to shoot them.

Agreed. It's pretty disgusting to be honest. Haven't they got any manners?

Uh.... here I'd like to point out the little distinction between adverts and what we in the business like to call "real life." The advert isn't real. It isn't advocating singing down phones with your mouth full, speaking with it full, or working for a call centre.
The herbal essences advert is not advocating having an orgasm every time you wash your hair. The colgate toothbrush advert in the unisex toilet isn't suggesting that you should kiss random men, anymore than the colgate oxygen toothpaste is arguing that a man shouting on a rock pedestal in the middle of the ocean will hear his voice echo.
They aren't real.

Thanks - I'm finding it very hard to tell those two concepts apart these days.
But seriously for a second - the advert is very definitely real. It's a real advert filmed by real people with their mouths full of real food really singing down the phone. In some studio in some country somewhere they actually did that. I don't care if half the people in the country are talking with their mouths full on a daily basis, because I don't see them. However, I
do see the advert, and the fact that it was created very deliberately by a whole team of people for a specific purpose does not make it any less unpleasant to me. I never meant to suggest that the commercial advocated singing with your mouth full of KFC, I just said I thought it was disgusting. Hope that clears things up

I find that kfc ad quite funny, it made me laugh first time I saw it and it's much better than that awful one with the couple singing at the end of the table while their kids are there - that kfc one makes me cringe - blech.
I am currently finding the Jamster ones annoying, the mobile phone thingies, the wee dragon one is annoying me far too much. As is the second tweety one. Crazy Frog I can now deal with just about as long as it isn't the original. But the voice over for all those ads makes me want to rip their tongues out :/
*calms down*

I like the KFC advert too, but I can't stand the Jamster stuff.
Any advert with Carol Vorderman or Linda Barker in... ARGH *TWITCHES*

the annoying frog! surely anyone thats stupid enough to want that ringtone has it already. STOP PLAYING IT!!!! i mean 4 times in one advert break! four times!!!

Someone needs to set those stupid Crazy Frog adverts that are on every other advert on fire. Preferably with a blowtorch.

The ones with the old men. I think it was advertising Heinekin, but I don't remember for sure.
You know.. the old people singing. With the piano. And they TRIED to annoy you. And they sang and played the paino, and the commercial was about a minute long, and every so often the message *Buy our product and we'll reward you by ending this commercial!* would pop up. Not joking. Everything was white. And at the end... they were all singing and the lions came up and ate them. Heh heh heh...

I don't like the Jamster ones too. They're blinking annoying-and they're a rip off too. I'm sure someone is hired to make them annoying.
I also don't like some of the KFC ones-they banned the new one ((manners)) but the one with the tasty tub of ice cream and the singing is bad.... bring back the Californa Soul ones-I loved that advert.
Kids toys adverts are usually bad, and the insurance ones. Plus some of the McDonalds ones. Especially with the songs about eating healthily.

I remember one commercial for a Barbie clothing line. (Yeah, I swear, there is a Barbie clothing line. I don't hear much from it, but it existed to warp our children's minds.) This probably eight/nine year old girl walks out of her house in this tight pink skirt and low cut shirt. A boy about the same age of her skateboards by, turns his head and goes, "WOAH!"
I only saw that commercial twice, and it was probably about a few months ago, but Grrrr! That just really bothered me.

Do they have the Crazy Frog in America?
