This actually makes me kind of angry. The advent calendar is supposed to be a gift from TNT to us. So what, is it like TNT is telling us if we stay up all night we're naughty children or something?

I only got 200 np when I did it before school.

I went around and managed to snag the items for 200 np each from a shop because I really wanted the items. I'm just waiting until the afternoon from now on.

those of us paying actually have a reason to complaion i'm not sure if htey thought about that how paying customers could SERIOUSLY cause probs for them if treated badly i just went adn bought my 2 items for about 1500 np i'm a pack rat avatar lover as my over 5000 items will detest

Yeah.. I agree. Once or twice I don't mind this TOO bad, but honestly, if this is every day I'm gonna be a litltle ticked off.

I went and bought the two items. If this is going to happen everyday it's going to suck some of the fun out of the advent calendar. A lot of the fun is waiting up to find your presents just like waking up early and sneaking out on Christmas.

The items are going fast in the shops.

I got the sword for 400 and the puppet for 550. The puppet was for sale for less, but the page loading was so slow that I couldn't get there in time.

I seriously will NEVER do the advent calendar right on the dot ever again. They have scolded me too many times. Neopets should offer a refund to everyone jipped out of the gifts, but I don't see that happening. And they should fire the person that waits till 12 hours after the advent calendar to start giving out the right stuff.

Perhaps, they feel guilty that in three times in the past, they gave out great prizes early in the day and then switched to cheaper ones later on that day. In 2002, the blue fir was only given out for a hour or so. In 2003, the white ona and the snow petpet paintbrush were only given out for a few hours and then switched.

So, maybe they wanted to even things out.

But, my guess is that, once again, it was a glitch.

EDIT: I guess we should be thankful cheap toys were given out and not rare PBs. I just picked up both for about 100 nps each.

Ok, now I'm seriously irked. If they want to even things out then if they are giving out a rarer item give it out at a random time of day instead of just the first hour, but still give the rest of us some item(s) too. I don't understand why they wait so long to release the items leaving the rest of us who claimed already left out. So now we must wait until 11 pm nst to claim the prize just in case so we don't miss out? Ba humbug.

Just a note, the Blue Fir wasn't supposed to be given away. Donna said that she chose that before seeing the petpet that was supposed to be given away that day (the Snowbunny). I believe she said it in an editorial.

Actually, it was quite a good thing that I didn't get these prizes earlier today. Because otherwise, I wouldn't have been looking to buy them. I just got the puppet for 12 nps in someone's shop, along with a virtublaster 1000, levatoto ray, and a scarab stone slingshot for 123 nps each. Go me!!!!!!

Yes, I know, mods, this should be in the gloat/cry, but it is advent calendar related! Sort of.

Honestly now, this ticks me off. A lot. Luckily, I found the sword for 4 NP and am sure I can find the puppet for less than 200 NP.

I prefer that everyone get the same prizes. I tried at about 5:30 am NPT and only got the 200 pts. It was disappointing when I found out that later on others were getting prizes.
