Why is it that everytime I want the news to come out, it doesn't?

I'm waiting for the new LC, I've gotten my prize for the last one, and do you think it will come out on time? No, of course not.

The news never seems to come out at the same time anymore. Sometimes it's really early in the day, other times it doesn't come out until the next day.

Really not fair, honestly. The least they could do is set it up to come out at the same time everyday. Sheesh...

Actually, I find it quite fair. If there was a set time for the news to come out, it would be sometime in the American working day. Which is the Australian night, etc.

Other countries would never get the chance to be the first 250 in anything, be it the LC, mystery pic or even getting a good trophy in better than you.

I think this unpredictability is for the best. Now if only the news actually came out every day, that would be even better.

The random, put-it-up-whenever-we-feel-like-it news is too sporadic.

At least have it come out the same time each day of the week (Mon 2 PM, Tues 8 AM, Wed 12 PM, etc).

Doing that still doesn't assist the time-zone problem that Ledi pointed out and that I fully agree with. Not only that but being forced to release News at the same time everyday may mean that TNT doesn't always release everything it could (it could still be working on something when the News is set to be released).

I would however like to know how this is "unfair" though? You are not at more of a disadvantage than anyone else. Having the set times would put some people at a disadvantage making that unfair.

I think that if they want to release it whenever, then ok.

I DON'T like them saying that they will standardize the
news release time and then still have not done it.

That would be too predictable, and everyone will camp at new features waiting for the news to come out so that they can get news of the contests first. It will ultimately end up like restocking.

yes but i remeber for the april fools day avv, some people visited early in the day and didn't get the avv, but other who logged on later did, and people did say that was unfair because it was a 1 day only thing, and not everyone got to know about it, like i live in australia, and i check at 9 pm at night for me, and normally that would be it, but then i had a no school day so i logged on and was lucky enough to get it, but one of my friends missed it and she wasn't happy because she collects them seriously, so sometimes the totally-random-when-we-feel-like-it posting does become unfair.

Well, it would be advisable to check Neopets many times a day, if you are a serious player. Especially at the start of each Neopian day.

didn't they say they were going to release it at midnight NST last year or something like that? I remember them saying they would release it for a set time everyday but that only happened for a few weeks.

Yeah, I remember that too. They said they would be posting news one day in advance, or one day later, or something like that. But I would rather it be random, it is definitely more fair.

I think that one day in advance would also be fair in most cases,
like special day items and such that anybody can get.

Random would be better for mystery pics and lenny.

I actually prefer when it's random. Like it's already been mentioned, it's fairer in the long run.

I prefer it when it's random, because then it's more equal for everyone.
