Something has happened!
The incessant mewing of a Mutant Kadoatie drives you completely mad, and you give its owner 5,000 Neopoints to take it away!
I have never seen this before or heard of it.. is it new?

I hate events that take your money! Especially when if that really happened you would in no way give up any amount of NP for any reason. I think that's happened to me about once.

I've luckily never had that RE. I usually have less than 5k on me.

But yeah.. would suck to get that random event... considering it's rare if I even get any sort of random event.

You're not immune, it will still drain you into negative neopoints.
This random event really burns a hole in your pocket... 5000np is a lot compared to the miniscule amounts the ghosts/bullies steal.

Yeah, and what really gets me about it is that while they're happy to use bigger sums like that for the losing-NP events, gaining-NP events tend to have tiny amounts - the most i've ever "found on the floor" is 1k, and the sponsor signups (GloPhone for instance) give you pitiful sums like 500NP :/
