I did mine by hand. I drew each room and I gave each new room a number, then when i went through hallways I labeled the hallway with the number of the room it went into. Whenever there were arrows I followed them first, to draw all the rooms on that row, before I tried any more hallways. Hope that makes sense.

I'll let that slide since you have Family Guy stuff

lol.

Thanks! :D

And yes, Family Guy rocks! xD

I don't know where my 6th door is... I guess it's more searching for me!

But I need to wait an hour, and I need to go to bed now! >.<

About an hour.

If it was up to me, then it would take one minute!

Then I'd be caught up! :D

I'm getting real annoyed with this fortune teller. Everytime we go to her she says, 'I've been expecting you.' By now she should be saying, 'Great! Not you again! I don't have any more clues for X:XX! Go bug the Island Mystic!' But that is just how I would feel.

If there are 85 rooms, does that mean there are 17 hallways?

Not exactly. There are approximately 85 rooms, each with 5 doors/hallways. There are 288 colored doors, three libraries, and maybe some blank walls. The rest are hallways.

Most get 85 rooms. I got 83. I did the math while waiting for the next clue at 0200 NST this morning; with 85 rooms, 12 symbols, six colors, and four types of doors, you still have over 100 doors to spare. I got 39 halls. Those doors have to lead somewhere.

Ahhh, now I've got it!
Thx, I 'll start drawing the map soon after I get out the trap

MAPPING: There are differing lengths to each corridor, so everybody will have a different number of them.

Start: Use the right and left arrow keys to map out your starting corridor. I suggest from left to right (Unless you are left handed). Write down the SHAPE COLOR and SYMBOL. Mark your Starting Room. I also named my corridor with a symbol and each door in the corridor with a number.

Then: Try to think scientifically. Choose a door at either end. This should take you to a new corridor (sometimes it takes you to your original corridor. Take note and choose another door).

Map out your second corridor. Mark which room you went into from your starting corridor door. Continue until all doors are marked.

EXAMPLE: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y30/lo ... xample.gif

After I mapped all doors:

Green marks are my 'prophecy' door color and shape that did not have the faerie statue.

Finally: I rearranged my corridors by length to help check for repeats. I had a few.

All (shrunken):

Full size in 2 parts:

ALSO: This is what I started but abandoned early on.

I created graphics using a program called Screenhunter. You can use any screenshot capturing program you wish. I took a screenshot of just the doors in each room and pasted them together into a hallway. I used the art program Gimp. You can use any art program you wish.

MOST people got 84 rooms. Some have gotten more or less. There is ONE door of every symbol, shape, and color. That is the only way to confirm any missing rooms. There should also be three library doors.

::Points down:: Three fit. I made it when there were still four missing. Never thought of it. I probably won't change it. I just thought my first part needed a 'base' because it was so small.

This question is for stampsyne. Do the three blank spots on your little bar thingy represent the last three symbols for your tablet? If so, will you fill them up after the next few clues?

Mon Sep 12, 2005 5:20 am

My riddle on the front page turned out to be a black rectangle but there are only 11 of those in my tomb. I heard there had to be 12

Mon Sep 12, 2005 5:21 am

You must have missed one. There is a door in every color and shape for every one of the twelve symbols!

I wish they didn't use Terror Mountain already. It would have been cool [no pun... sorta] to have to do a plot related Cliffhanger... maybe not, but I just want to see more new puzzles there.
