Game suggestions-for a five year old?

Fri Jul 22, 2005 8:24 pm

I have a five year old neice whom I sometimes try to keep occupied by having her play hasee bounce, which usualy keeps her enterained, all beit, she dosn't play the game well, but that hardley matters. Of course, even a five year old starts to find a game repetitive, so she not longer wants to only play hasee bounce. Can anyone think of any games on neopets that she could play? ^^

Destruct-O-Match
Maths Nightmare (hey, it's educational on the easy levels!)
March Of The Penguins : http://www.neopets.com/games/marchofthepenguins.phtml
Meerca Chase One and Two
Kiko Match / Limited Too Game
Gadgadsgame
Faerie Bubbles

Usuki Frenzy? That seems like an appropriate, and easy, game. :) Any of the Meerca Chases might also be relatively easy.

She's five. :P My friend is over, and she views some of those games as hard!
Adding is still beyond her.
I'm thinking of somthing at the level of hasee bounce-click, watch the hasee drop, grab the doughnutfruit, etc. She might be able to do faerie bubbles, but I'm not sure she'd find it to fun. -.-

Maybe games like Snowmuncher (just press down, heh), whack a kass though that might be a bit tricky and maybe turmac roll?

There aren't any real very small person games on neopets though.

Bah, I guess. I don't think a five year could do 20 + 12. :P

Hey, the Zen thing reminds me.. how about Pyramids? :O

The zen mode on Meepit Juice Break might work too...

Here are some you might not have heard of....

Ruins of Maraqua..... if your 5-year-old learns the actions of the game, it should be pretty easy.... and its labeled easy in the first place. and its a "puzzle" game... always good for kids :)

A non-flash alternative might be kacheek seek... although that does tend to get boring relatively fast.....

If your child understands the laws of gravity at all, the new Petpet cannonball could be possible... *then of course, if your child gets good at that game, you could try Bouncy Supreme*

Bumper cars is a little hard, but i think is very intresting, especially for a young one who would probably enjoy smashing cars together.

While "Escape from Meridell Castle" is labeled "hard".... i know that lots of those "Mario" like games are easy to learn fast, and though your child might not be able to get past..say...level 5, it still might be fun.

Ice Cream Machine is pretty simple... since the charactor just has to avoid the ice cream flying at her...... and its marked "easy"

and lastly.... turmac roll. super easy..... super very really easy, and addicting. and fun. yes.....

so yeah.... there are some games that people probably wouldnt think of off the top of their heads..... hope that helps!

once again, they are:
Ruins of Maraqua
Kacheek Seek
Petpet Cannonball (then maybe bouncy supreme)
Bumper Cars
Escape From Meridell Castle
Ice Cream Machine
Turmac Roll

That helped a lot. :)
Kacheek seek is definantly a good one, the one downside is she can't read yet, so she can't do it on her own compleatly yet. She does know a few letters, but thats about it...

Bumper cars is a good idea, she'd probably find that fun, and I'm sure turmac roll would work well to. Thanks! ^^

just bascially go for a game where the game movement and reaction time required is slow..... like if u ask a 5 year old to play chia bombers, they will lose cause their reaction time is slwo

But be sure it's on slllloooowwww mode ;) I remember when I first strated Neo (10 or so) I couldn't play the really fast mode. Try that out for about 30 minutes to kill :P

Flycatcher - I'm sure she'll enjoy catching the little flys ^^

Rink Runner - I'm not sure about this one, it might be a hit though!

Zurroball - Again, a "might enjoy, might not" type of game...

Sorry I couldn't make much suggestions, but still, I hope that helps ^^

My kids enjoy playing the sponsor games. The cereal adventure games are some of their favorites.
