And I agree with others... can anyone say "Pokemon". This will be the end of neopets as we know it, either the moive will fail and neopets will be ruined, or the moive will accually be good(pfft) and it might mark a revival of neopets

Pump And Dump. Doug Dohring's plan is obvously to make as much money from Neopets at the hight of its popularity, and then ditch it as the site quality goes down, and people start to leave. That is what happened with Pokemon. It was cool, then a movie. Boom, Pokemon lost its touch. Boom, the second movie, even more people stoped liking it, and after the third only the die hard fans are left. That is what is going to happen to Neopets. It is sad to say. The even sadder thing is that they have signed on to do multiple movies, so that could mean two, that could mean five. Hopefully Adam or Donna will see this and possibly tell Doug and maybe he will relise that the Movie could end up making them lose money. It could happen
Anyway, you can tell I'm against it, and I won't go see this in the theaters. I may rent it...may.

You know what I could see them doing, having guest stars, like actuall real life neopets players.

Selective? With all of these foreign sponser games, and stupid advertisments, it looks like they'll do buisness with just about anyone.

Well, from a buisness and logical point of view, if they were smart, they'd spend a TON of time on the movie as if it had NOTHING to do with the Internet, as if there were no website - so that the movie could stand on its own. That way, the quality would be so good that it could become a box-office hit...a.k.a. Shrek. Then, the people who have never heard and know nothing about Neopets will join, as well as the people who DO go on Neopets and know about it will love it. This will be more beneficial for Neopets. Let's just hope they're smart about this, and hire some good writers.
