Comic idea - is it good?

I've got this idea for a flash comic called Vigilantes. It's about my character and his pets, trying their best to stop the villains of neopia from taking over the world, despite being outnumbered, outgunned, and having the police after them for the property damage and theft they create in doing their job. The first storyline I thought up for it involves the very essence of chaos teaming up with Dr. Sloth to destroy Neopia. I'm currently working on getting better at artwork so it will actually be decent. So, any opinions? Good, bad, been done to death?

The proof is all in the animation. Maybe the idea is a bit overdone, but anything innovative, yet easy to follow, in animation can make up for that!

I thinks it's an excellant idea! It really does sound neat... I hope you follow through with the whole idea. One liiittle question though: what program do you use for flash animation?

My little brother managed to pick up a copy of Macromedia Flash MX that he uses to make Habbo Hotel flash videos, so I'm gonna learn how to use that. Oh, and I'm getting better at artwork. Just today I finally managed to add 'hands from a side view' to my repoirtoire (however you spell that). So, I'm gonna practice a bit more with drawing my character and the various pets, work on backgrounds, then start on the first chapter of the first episode (I've got plotlines for like, 7 episodes planned

). I plan on being ready by the time I'm unfrozen so I can submit it to the NT, but if I don't get unfrozen I'll just host it on my site or something. Thanks for all the support guys, you're really encouraging me to keep going

You might want to try and get photoshop too. Even if it's a free trial or somthing. For touchups and effexts and things.

I took an interview sorta thing with another NT Editor.
He said "No jokes related to Adam or Donna are allowed".

Wait.... On the things you can write about....

Writing about a pet painted a color that doesn't exist yet (ie: a Mutant Gelert)

The editor I interviewed said you can't do that.

*sigh* more and more it sounds like this wont't be able to get into the NT. Oh well, I've got a different comic that's just random humor that I'll also work on, so that will be able to get in. Looks like Vigilantes might just remain on it's own.
