Okay, SUMMARY!

Once you have your "sharp eye" message (do not read any other repository scrolls after getting it or this may not work):

1. Fall into a spike trap in your temple (there doesn't seem to be any real way to tell which doors lead to spike traps). Change the url to: http://www.neopets.com/desert/ldp/temple.phtml?ucmc=1 and you will get a new crystal.

2. Go back to your card catalogs in the repository. They will have a "wet paint" sign and be different (same three colors, different scrolls).

3. Go to your model city room when you have light (every eight hours, and it stays on for one full hour at a time) and insert the new crystal... which will give you red, green, purple, yellow, orange and blue lights (everyone will have different numbers of lights in a different combo; some people will be missing some colors). My new string is c=xprgxpxggbrrgpgx.

4. I really don't know. How do we know which scrolls to read? What's with the purple and green? And the new crystal has no dots, so how do we know which order to use the catalogs in this time?

Since people have had the spike trap behind different colored doors, different shaped doors, and doors with different symbols, I think we can conclude that it's different for everyone.

(Still waiting for the light so I can use the second crystal...)

Well, not necessarily different for everyone, but possibly. As far as I know, people have tried different green oval doors, so it might (or might not) be the same door behind a color/shape/symbol door. For the record, I did green oval SAF and it worked, so if someone could try that, it'd be good.

Not exactly. You will see the light during certain hours only. For example, I see the light during the 5:00 hour (PM NST). If I check anytime during the 5:00 hour, I see it. (And it seems to be every 8 hours for me, because it's also on in the 1AM hour and the 9AM hour.) You might have different hours than I do, but when it's on, it's on for the whole hour. Check once during every hour until you see it.

Mabey it is like two places because RED and BLUE makes PURPLE
YELLOW and BLUE

Brainstorming:
Crystal colors: orange, green, purple (those are all two color combos on color wheel)
Lights are purple, red and green;
Racks are still yellow, red and blue

Orange = yellow + red
Green = blue + yellow
Purple = red + blue

It's the single red light that is throwing me off.

Finally on the second try, i got the sharp eye message. I had to go the entire way out of the repository and come back in, and the order of my card catalogue symbols had changed.

So I would recommend exiting the repository entirely after you get the second batch of lights and coming back in to look at your card catalogue, because lord only knows what will happen this time.

The thought of tracking down scrolls all over the place again, especially maybe three more times, makes me want to freak out.

I have no idea what to do right now. My new crystal has no dots, so I don't know what order to use the card catalogs. And how do I deal with the purple and green dots?

I have 25 minutes left in my lockout. I have an hour and a half till my lights come back on. If I get very lucky, I can be caught up before I go to bed. Any suggestions on what door to try? I tried the green chick (sorry too frazzled to remember its name lol)

Ah, locked out from the temple--I wish I had mapped the traps. Anyhoo, regarding the new colors, maybe you need to read two scrolls per symbol? Like if you have a purple KAR, you need to read both the red and blue KARs. Twice as much work but they might be making each step more difficult.

Ok... If the racks are still primary colors, then you combine primary colors to make secondary colors... like blue + red = purple and yellow + blue = green....

Scratch that - same symbol on two different racks gave two different rooms. Anybody have any ideas?

That is what I was thinking. Do we read them together? red kar followed by blue kar? oh how would we know which came first? Someone posted that the new crystal has no color dots to use for reference.

I think that the wet paint sign might be a clue indicating that there is some way to "smear" the paint from one rack to the other to get the colors you need?

I was thinking that maybe we use the same catalog order. You would still read all the colors in the catalog in order then go to the next catalog but this time around you would have more symbols to deal with in each group. (Does that make sense or am I rambling?) It'll be a long while before I can test this out so I'm just throwing out ideas.
