Wow, that is awesome, I love it! Only I still think that the active pet and np should be moved up, the scrolling is annoying.

Me being the pathetic mac user I am.. dunno if it's just me or the buttons on the sidebar don't load when the page loads, I have to hover over the button to make it show up. But the rest looks good! I had to get my friend to send me a neomail so I could see the new event style

How much longer is it taking to load out of curiosity? Am asking because, well, I live in the middle of the bush - and my connection is almost constantly slower than 28.8
The size of the template file was 6.5k before, and now it is about 7.5k so not too much larger. Thats just the template though, I am not including the content text in that figure. Each page should be about 1k larger on average which is not much at all.

No, just HTML Code. Images and flash files cache in your browser so you only have to download them once (thankfully!)

Im not sure hwo it sued to be(oh, the good old days) but the banners(i.e Neopian.bazaar) are flush with the banner on top of that, but the maps and scroll(in Neopia central) aren't.

so at the moment we're only having to load the ads on the first 5 or 6 pages, so its not bad, but surely, once you start adding more, like on the small sidebar one, you'll have to amount many many more pageviews before you have got all of them in your cache...?

Well thanks for the positive response, I have to rush out to get some food as I have just stopped being "very bloated", but I will check back later!
We will be adding more banners by the way before this thing launches. There will probably be some sponsor banners in the mix at some point (we dont have much choice in that, sorry), but as with the yellow bar they will be strictly monitored and kept to an absolute minimum.

The yellow background image behind the "User, Pet, NP" links is slow to load. Other than that, it's working fine.

Honestly, I think the coolest feature of the new bar is the inclusion of the larger 'advertisement' banners at the top. Well, actually, it's not the banners being there -- it's more of how good the banners look (or will look, since the Kadoatery one is pretty dang cool already).

Umm Adam? My sidebar's links/pics aren't showing up. I only see the Banner, create-a pet and petcentral images.
I'm using Mozilla, BTW.
Ok, the Huge Banner isn't as big a problem as I was expecting. I can realign my banner. Really, I like the new change, though I am dissappointed with the clock not being real-time, though not a biggie for me.
I'll now check other stuff now.
