New,keep in mind I am no expert on weapons; likewise, I am waiting some feedback.

However, a few advices I can give to you.
At the moment, you have no defensive weapons. People around here trust in the Leaf Shield/Downsize duo. They are quite cheap, and you will have more NP to invest on other weapons.
Better invest on these now, before the talks of war inflate the price.
Next, you will need a healing ecquipment. Scorchstones may be a bit expensive, so you may look for alternatives. Usually, specific species healing products are cheaper: for gelert, for instance. Since you have a lab rat...

Now, the rest, depends much of your characteristic of fighting.
I, for instance, like random weapons, as you can see on my other post here in this thread. Others prefer reliable, steady damage items.
Some like to play with strategy, and prefer sticky hands, and attack-and-defend-at-the-same-time things.
Others are all attack, and have lot's of one-use, powerfull weapons: fruit bombs, clockwork grundo, muffins...

So, first you munt to know how you like to fight.

First off, I'd get rid of that everlasting crystal apple. It's pretty useless, to me anyhow.
The mask provides an excellent attack/defense combo, it's a good choice.
The Honey Potion, Sleep Ray, Goo Blaster, and Downsize! are also fairly nice weapons.
Your main problem seems to be a healer, I suggest a Green Scorchstone.
The last two could be many things, An Ultra Dual Shovel would help,
and a Portable Kiln is always a good choice. Hope that helped, at least a little.

If the max you wish to spend is 50 K....you won't get many worthwhile weapons, but for about 40 K or so you can get a once-per-battle breakable freezer, the Scroll Of Freezing. You can also grab a Lost Desert Dagger for about 15 K last time I checked...
Almost any weapon would benefit you more than the Lightning Beam.
As for your healer, getting a green scorchstone wouldnt hurt, if you have the NPs.

I know that training is desperately needed. I have no idea what I good ability would be, and please don't suggest Drain Life since I rarely battle against a non-computerized opponent. As for weapons, I do plan to eventually obtain a Honey Potion, and if I win either the Wand of Reality or the Bow of Destiny (or whatever it's called) from NQ2 they will certainly be equipped. I don't like to spend lots of money, but I do have a little over one million NPs in my bank account.

PS I'd perfer that any recommendations are sent to me via PM, since I think I'll forget to check this topic again.

I do not have Sink or Berserk as this is a lab rat. Can I do this without Sink? I don't feel like waiting, and I'm on a long losing streak on Deadly Dice.

This is just a really awkward opinion.

Ive read the ratings for Melting Mirror and Sinsis Sword, and I still can't decide on which to buy. I know SS has various icons, and has a higher percentage of 8-9 icons, but is also costly, well, atleast more than the MM. The MM does dark, earth, and I think some physical, but is cheaper. They both have the same # of icons, but could I get some opinions on which you would use/think is better?
