Altador Plot Split #30

I really don't think the size of the Dark Faerie's flames is important. But what has always intrigued me is the large corridor behind her. I know that this is just the way in from Altador to the Hall of Heroes, but surely there is some reason why it has been drawn there

It may come into use later on, but I think it was mainly so people wouldn't say "omg how can you come in if there is no corridor anywhere!" or so they would say "That was pretty clever, I completely forgot there was a corridor there."

That is a point. But then, surely Neopets wouldn't put something in that could so obviously be a clue, but is actually not?

I'm not going to enter into whether the help programs are good or not...conflicting thoughts.

What I AM going to say is.....why can't I see the bigger flames on my DF!? They look all small and boring like before. Have I missed something? I've completed all the steps and got all the current constellations...so maybe my personal DF just left her matches at home?

It would be interesting to see if yours is a cached image that you could save and post for comparison.

Maybe it's just because you're seeing it through different eyes. To one person, the flames may appear a lot larger than they do to another.

There was a lot of speculation about this in earlier splits, and it was pretty much concluded that it is most likely just a fancy entry with a wall in the center that you have to walk around. After all, you have to get into the Hall of Heroes somehow.

You're probably right. I haven't really had a chance to have a look at a lot of the previous splits - being in England, I miss all the times when there are a lot of posts, and then never get time to read through them. Yet it's going very slowly today, for some reason, so I can catch up. But it is more than likely that the passage is totally irrelevant.

It’s actually a glitch in the filtering system thats prevent people from using some script commands. It’s the same as if you type in JavaScript in a neo-boards topic it will turn it into no-js

I have tested it, and it is good. Probably too good, if you ask me.

Pretty scary. However, in the latest Neopian Times editorials, it doesn't seem as if the Neopets folks have a problem against this sort of thing (people being "lazy") on the plots.

I am happy to say that I didn't hear about that thing until after people were posting about how it does everything for you. I personally feel you can be so much prouder having found it yourself!

I asked for help on my sleeper, after about an hour of looking (of course you know she found it in 5 minutes). The others I have found myself by looking, visually, not using excel, and I am mad now that I didn't stick in there and find the first one on my own too!

My ultimate goal on neopets is to be the person to discover one of the next steps in a plot someday, before anyone else points it out to me, and be able to bring it back and show it to others, like they have done for me on every plot since I've been on neo. *sigh*

I guess that was more than 2 cents but I really wish everyone would at least try on their own instead of availing themselves of that stoodder thing.

Yep i followed each steps without missing one. I think its that my telescope hasn't been updated with my new star data or something like that o well. maybe tomorrow it will be fixed x_X

Hmm Stooder's constellation finder can't find it at all :O somethings weird with my stars.... My telescope can only go up to 460, 460 or -460, -460 but my star data has 710, 710 :/

Go away from the telescope page and to another webpage (could be on Neopets or some other website as long as its not the telescope page). Then go into your browser options and clear out your browser cache. Then try going back and reloading your telescope.

If that still doesn't work, go visit the Lenny at the Altadorian Archives and let us know what he says. Checking with the Lenny will reveal to everyone where you are in the plot.

I tried clearing my history but still doesn't work
the lenny says "A pattern of sunlight on the road... The sun itself conspires ...." The First To Rise stuff
