Make sure you're reading the right scrolls. I don't see it mentioned a lot, but I'm sure it happens. Make sure, for example, that you are in the New Records and Acquisitions jelly room, instead of gas. Catacombs caused me frequent checking problems, as did the neopian literature ones (poetry and biography, for example, are mixed together).

To double-check that your scroll rack is in the right section, click the rack, then look at the top of the screen - it will repeat what section the rack is in.

Also, you should make sure you aren't reading the first O, but are instead reading the first O on the way back (that is, the very last symbol).

Read the scrolls for the bolded one:
P G G P P P O O

So, the Red, then the yellow. You should get a room name.

Well, I did all that, and wrote it down to make sure I didn't make a mistake. *sigh*
Maybe it's because I read all the catalogues for all the scrolls at the beginning? Do I have to keep going back every time I read for a new scroll?

Perhaps I should exit, and enter the repository again.. and just read the two racks for the red and yellow scrolls for my first O?

Oops! Silly me.. I figured out what I was doing wrong. When I copied my colours and symbols onto a new sheet.. I put them in order from last to first.. But I didn't realize that. So really, the O that I think is last, is actually the first on my tablet.. so I should be doing it the other way around.

Goodness, I can be such a ditz sometimes.

Omg, this plot is going to be the death of me yet. Pathetically enough, I'm still stuck with my first color pattern. At first, I categorized the names by my tablet. When I didn't get the message from that, I categorized them by my directory, like the instructions say. Well, I didn't get a message from that either. Argh. I know I read the right scrolls in the right rooms. What's going on? How do I put up pics so someone can check if I'm doing it right? ;.;

So you are working on your colours from your first crystal?

EDIT: To take pictures and post them go to the page where you want to take the image then press PRTSCRN button (it is normally next to F12 at the top of the keyboard) then go to a paint prog and click edit then paste in the pait prog, or right click and then select paste. Then upload them to a photo site or web space and link the image off to someone that way.

Place these dots/spaces over the Tablet to work our what symbol and colour you need. Omit the symbols that have a space.

Go to the Catalogue Cards and work out what scrolls you need to read. Read them in order of the Catalogue.

You will be left with 12 symbols - 4 red, 4 blue, 4 yellow.

Have a look at your Useless Crystal to see what order the 3 colours are in - this is the colour order you read the scrolls in.


Example: If your crystal has blue, red, yellow (b,r,y) on the top, then read all your blue scrolls, then all your red scrolls then all your yellow scrolls.

If you are on your 1st Crystal, then the instructions above your post will help you.

If you know what rooms all your scrolls are, then you must click on the scroll racks until you find the scroll that matches your symbol and colour.

Color Mixing (newly updated)

1- Crystal colors 1 + crystal colors 2 = new colors. You have colors 1 and new colors. You must 'fabricate' colors 2.
2- Use only the 8 symbols with different colors. Ignore blanks and the ones that don't change.
3- Start at the bottom of your tablet and read scrolls in REVERSE order of your tablet.
4- You need to 'mix colors' by reading scrolls from original and fabricated scrolls to get a a NEW location for unlisted colors.
_a) didn't get a message? Try reading the two scrolls in different order
(IE go back and read the first one again)
_b) Unconfirmed: Read in catelogue color order
5- Read the color from the second 'Indiana Effect' with corresponding symbol and location given.
_a) All of the same symbol. IE red ahn + blue ahn = purple ahn
_b)Each scroll has it's own room. Original and Fabricated are in the new directory. Second 'Indiana Effect' is in the room given.
6- Repeat for all eight. You will read eight original, eight fabricated, and eight mixed for a total of 24 scrolls.
__a) If you mess up, you only have to go back to after your last 'solved' section. You don't have to do it all over
7- You will get a new clue.
8- Visit a jelly trap and click on the bone.
9- You get the third Crystal.
10- Put third crystal over miniature city. Your colors are the same? Yes!

Blow that wall!

1- Identify your Blanks spots . There are four.
2- Start with the first blank spot.
3- Read the Red, Yellow and Blue of that symbol. The order is not set.
4- You'll find that reading brybrbyrb will cover all possible combinations quickly.
5- You will get confirmation in the form of a new location.
6- Read a white scroll of the same symbol in the listed section. There will be no confirmation.
7- Do the same for remaining 3 blank spots.
8- You will have sucessfully read 4 red, 4 yellow, 4 blue and 4 white scrolls.
9- You get a new clue!
10- Visit a Riddle Trap and click on the symbol.
11- Get the fourth crystal.
12- Visit your Miniature city and place your crystal. BOOM!
13- Go through the hole.
14- You will recieve a scroll. Your crystal are now gone!
15- Fortune Teller isn't much help.

Currently: If you go back to your miniature, it is back to normal. Wierd! You cannot blow it again because you do not have a crystal. The Foreman Chef will not give you another and says nothing different. No idea if he will replace stolen scrolls or will give you another crystal if your scroll is stolen. People have put scrolls in SDB, no reports yet of it being lost. The prophesy and many variations have now been tried on the faerie statue with no effect.

Hi all . . . not sure if this has been answered before (most likely has been)

just finished all the work with my 3rd crystal and looking for my 4th crystal tomb door when the pant devil stole my crystal

Can i still get the crystal from the 4th door or do i need to start all over again?

Thanks to all the great tips here I'm searching for my fourth crystal now.
But I'm terribly stuck!
I read my red, yellow and blue scrolls of my first symbol. I got a location for my white scroll and I've read that. Ok so far.
Now I'm reading my red, yellow and blue scolls for my second symbol and it just doesn't work! I've read the Y - B - R - Y - B - Y - R - B - Y
twice, even in a different order, and I just don't get a new location!

I'm reading my tablet form left to right, top to bottom. Maybe you have to read it top to bottom, left to right?
I'm afraid that I've come so far and am not able to finish it before the plot ends

You read your tablet from left to right, top to bottom. I used this combo which worked great:

Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Yellow, Red, Blue, Yellow, Red

I did not make this up, i saw this on SleepRuki's petpage

Or just write out the combos like this:

RBY
YRB
BYR
RYB
BRY
YBR

and cross them off as you do them. You don't need to read the last and first scroll twice, just the once should be ok

Ok, but i've did that (i got the first white scroll location).
Maybe I used the back button on my browser after I've clicked on the scrolls and I should do that?

Can someone explain to me what the word match is suppposed to mean?

Using the Lights
1) Match up the light sequence to your tablet. 4 symbols will fall under "red", 4 for "yellow", 4 for "blue", 4 will be left blank (ignore these)

Please with an example too!
