perhaps we can find out something about nabile? Although, if you try to read scrolls in any relationship to your lights, forget it, since there are no red, blue, yellow for any of your blanks. And in my case my blank symbols are duplicates of my other symbols, so you can't
formulate any kind of reasonable pattern

I tried random reading of scrolls in these rooms as well, but nothing.

Tried reading statue symbol scrolls also.

I believe we are in a resting period, however the fortune teller is almost taunting us again to figure out how we can "pull off" the wedding. So I thought I'd look around some more. It's not like she's ever taunted us before without it leading to a clue (ahem, watching furniture making is remarkable)

I've read on the neoboards (yes, I know, I shouldn't be lurking there, neoboards are evil..... but that's how desperate I am to finish this plot :P) that someone tried reading all scrolls there, with no result.

Does anyone have any of the physical scrolls that TNT brought up so long ago, but has yet to scatter around?

The first installment of our new storyline set in the Lost Desert is due to go live next week.
You will start to see these strange scrolls around the site. Maybe you should think about holding on to them...

HELP!

*ahem* Sorry, but I'm at my wits end. Neopets has been kinda glitchy for me all day, especially in the Scroll Repository...

Often the page will only partially load then say it's done. But will work if refreshed.

Well... when trying to complete some of the color combo's for my second crystal it did the "blank" page thing when it was supposed to tell me the room to go to.

I know it was supposed to do it then because it was the only possible combination left. Well when refreshed it only said the usual "that was interesting".

And I've not been able to get it to give me the proper room since, though I've tried both combinations multiple times.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do?

K

I agree that those scrolls can't mean much in the plot.. I've never talked to anyone who got one of the scrolls... just heard reports of folks haveing them in galleries, ect. they are probably just the rarest items from the plot.. not plot solving items.

Thier discriptions were clues to which library door contains which scrolls.

Glyph: Item Name: Description:
set Royal Proclamations of Coltzan Vol 13 Here you might find a hunter or cup
ben Sand Cuisine for Elephantes Here you cannot tell one path from the next
nem Decorating With Sand - Winter Quarterly Here you might never be heard from again
djo Desert Petpets: A Cautionary Tale Here you might weather a deadly flood
ahn The Joy of Burnt Desert Food Here you can navigate by points of light
ra Desert Tent Zoning Regulations Here you can look ages into the past
lat The Chemical Properties of Sand Here you could be terribly lost
tep History of the Sakmet Dynasty Vol 3 Here you could sail from lake to sea
saf Ruki Population Survey Vol 5 Here you could wander with no end in sight
kha Famous Sand Collections Here you can see suns far away
kar Edible Desert Foliage Vol 9 Here you can take a cool drink
fer Desert Survival Skills for the Dim-Witted Here you will find rushing rapids

Back when only three had been discovered, I suggested a link between the descriptions and the library doors. Then, we only knew the description for kar, nem and ra, "Here you can look ages into the past," so I called the "dot to dot" door a timeline. After the others have been found (kha, ahn, & set) I think it's obvious those descriptions tell us the door is actually stars and constellations. The river (fer, kar, tep & djo) and maze (saf, lat, nem and ben) I believe are still accurate.

Both are on the third floor. This page has maps of them: http://petpages.neopets.com/~Pyretta_Blaze

Interestingly, even so, couldn't we use this information to maybe combine some phrases into a prophecy to tell to Nuria? If we still have to do such?

Tue Nov 08, 2005 11:29 pm

I think there must still be something to do with Nuria, whether it's active or not is another matter, as she didn't really seem to have much of a purpose.

Hmmmmm, who knows. And I can't be bothered to think anymore, it's bedtime.

hmmm....

I am still looking for a jelly trap; however, while in my temple, one of the doors actually had a scroll above it instead of a symbol. It lead to a water trao, but was it a glitch, or another step in the plot that I haven't unlocked yet?

Are we 100% SURE that there is no harm in putting the mysterious scroll in your SDB? I don't want to chance anything at this point...

I'd like to hear straight from someone that's done it and has been able to take it out again. Thanks!
