I still think it sounds uncomfortable. I hope, at least, the scroll is small if they're gonna make one. ;)

I suppose it would make smuggling scrolls...um... easier? If it's easy to run scrolls with one of those. :P

Okay, I'd better stop on this line of thought. It can only get worse. ;)

:roflol: I almost choked when I read that.

I'm trying my best to repress the images of a neopet wandering through the desert bow-leggedly. "What? What's wrong with the way I walk?"

However, as you saw in my last post, you can win things such as Lost Desert Paintbrushes while digging, making THAT the prize and the reason to keep digging.

(And yes, I'm lucky. I've only dug a dozen or so times.)

I have to disagree, as it would be unfair for everyone to reap the benefits, if they didn't help in the process. Yes, when it is uncovered, probably anyone can get in, but the rewards would have to be based on how much work you have done.

Geez, I am in a disagreeale mood today. It must be because it is Monday. I hate Mondays!!

Regarding the number of piles of sand you grab. I really doubt it counts for anything and that this is nothing more than a delay tactic. Although I have 57 piles of sand from going there every hour, i don't see how it will turn into war points or a prize of any sort.

I havent sold my piles of sand just to be on the safe side but i also have a good feeling that the sand once we're done this plot will be absolutely worthless and again, doubtful that the gift shop will require payments in "sand". If it required payment in sand, it sort of cheats the players who have spent the time digging out the temple as you can just go buy handfuls of sand in stores and bypass the entire dig part. And if someone were to buy 60 handfuls of sand in the shops, does that mean they did more than me because they have more handfuls?

Im not all that pleased with how they've ran this last part by turning it into a group effort as the entire plot prior to this based on individual merit. Now, those who are digging the sand, whether 1 handful or 100 handfuls, are equal and it allows those who were to slow to bother reading the news/plots/boards/websites/etc about the plot to catch up with relative ease.

Just my two cents.

have you seen this, it is what people on the neopets discussion board say they have OLDPD (Obsessive Lost Desert Plot Disorder) the symptoms are here ...I think we all, at least I do, fit many of those points...

That is where my theory comes in. Rewards will be based on how many times you visited the Repository. Slower people might be able to catch up, but they will not get any additional benefits.

And remember, you still had to go to the Temple at least twice to get into the Repository. Maybe you will have to do something in the Repository to get through to the next part.
