I like the idea of it, mutant is one of those colours where you can have a lot of variation and something to please everyone. It would have worked better without such thick lines though. But a diseased looking petpet is a nice addition and I'm sure there will be people who have been waiting for something diseased and covered in eyes, heh.

Robot is spiffy and a good match for a couple of robot pets, the blue is as nice as the original one is and I like the plushie one - though that may be because I'm not a fan of the more plushie looking plushie petpets :)

If you ask me, It's the worst Mutant petpet ever... multiple eyes, that you cant even get theyre eyes.... eww.... that ruins blobagus' cuteness and doesn't even add coolness, like other mutants do :P

Example of an experiment which hasn't gone wrong enough to be likeable ;)

It looks kinda diseased or something. :( I'd hug it or something, but I'm too busy hiding from it behind a cushion. >_<

It does look diseased. Which is perfect for another one of those herpes ads. o.o

Yeah i think so too... It looks like Jelly Beans sprinkled all over. Orange ones. Haha! Maybe his eyes and spots on it is the same shape and colour ? :P

I guess it's always made sense, but I never realized how many of the shields are just recolorings:

Well, DUH! It is a mutant, you can't expect it to be cute, can you?

I like it, it looks cool :P

I like that Mutant actually. It looks very mutated :D

The robot is cool, but too much like a kiko for me. I think I'll paint mine blue though. It's such a pretty color, but I think I'll wait and see if they choose it for the PPL when they're released. The mutant is rather icky in a bad way, and plushie doesn't look plushies as others have mentioned. It's still kinda cute though.

*gasp*

I just realized the blue one is missing the glowing effect. Bummer.

Exactly how does the huggy thing work? I mean, what happens if you paint a halloween huggy with a blue paint brush? Does it become blue or go back to normal? I don't know, that just doesn't sound right. The default color has to be something other than blue for it to work, regardless of the actual visible color of the unpainted huggy.

They need to have a section of the Rainbow Pool where you can wash off Petpet paint with mystical water for a set price.

EG : Pay 10,000 NP in order to gain access to the cleansing springs.
WARNING : THIS WILL REMOVE YOUR ACTIVE PET'S PETPET'S COLOUR. IF YOU WISH TO REVERSE THE EFFECT YOU MUST BUY A NEW PETPET PAINT BRUSH

they dont need that... every petpet allready is "painted" a color, even in its unpainted state. Like a hasee, unpainted, is still purple. if you paint your hasee tyrannian, and want your purple hasee back, you can just paint it with a purple paint brush.... thats how it is for all petpets.

But that (the current system) restricts things a lot. I know how it currently works, I'm saying it's a bad system

EG : There can't be a grey Zomutt as if you wanted to paint it back to it's original colour ("grey") then it would paint in the sad grey colour and not the original colour. Or the other way around where you may want to paint it sad but it goes normal.

And besides, with the current system in place it can cost more to paint the petpet it's original colour than it did to paint it the colour you wanted (and then decided against)

Maybe there should be an 'original colour' petpet paintbrush?

That's what I was trying to explain, poorly, earlier. That's why the normal huggy can't be blue if there is a blue huggy at the rainbow pool. I think there should be a petpet unpaint brush. One that unpaints your pet and that you receive on your unbirthday.

Or maybe, instead of a brush, TNT could release a Petpet Cleansing Soap - strong enough to scrub any traces of paint clean off your petpet. Mind you, it'd more than likely be expensive (say 10,000NP as the_dog_god suggested for the cleansing springs) BUT it would occasionally be available from the petpet supply shop...

I dunno. Just makes more sense to me to use soap to return your petpet to normal instead of another paintbrush.
