Advent Calendar reminder!

That was... odd. O.o;;

I went to claim my Advent Calender Prizes and as per usual my Browser got stuck for a few seconds as the Animation began to load and started working again after it had loaded. I clicked on the button to claim my prizes and instead of the new page appearing with a list of my prizes... the previous page reloaded (the URL was for the page you usually get your items on though). O.o;; Layout, animation, Pet hub and all. I checked my inventory and found no items and checked my Neopoint total and found no extra Neopoints. -prods- I went back to the Advent Calender page and found that the button was still there... so I clicked on it once more. That time I actually got my items and Neopoints. -prods-

Has anyone else had this problem today? I hope it's not my Browser, Neopets doesn't seem to like it at the moment. >.<

Why yes, actually. Did you first go to the Advent Calendar via the new features page? When I clicked on the link on the bottom of that page, I had the same problem. I ended up going to world map and going back to the Advent Calendar by actually going to Happy Valley and clicking the link there; then I was able to collect my prizes without a problem.
I am slightly amused by my random semicolon usage.

Strangely enough, the Scientist Wig is "Clothes" but not a wearable. A lot of older clothes aren't wearable, but a new non-wearable Clothes item is just odd.

BTW, the wig is now wearable. I know it wasn't earlier this morning...but it is now. And it is QUITE amusing to put on. It's this itchy-tichy little thing (as if it were made for a petpet)...but to me that makes it even more hilarious.

For those looking for color-coordination...it even matches the bowling shirt we got earlier.

It is only now that I realize just how many times I've had to watch Finding Nemo in French classes through the years.

The scientist wig became wearable and looks really nice on some pets, especially a Pirate Draik. It also looks good on a Pirate Lupe. On a Yurble it looks more like a hair scrunchie or flower. You could pretend it is a pompom or something.

I LOVE the Holiday Decorated Tombstone. Its so... festively morbid. Too bad they're wearables rather than NeoHome items... if that was the case, my entire yard in Shenkuu would be filled with them. They just crack me up because of the jarring imagery.
