:o that's some great artwork! I'm so excited for this plot, I can't stand it! I'm taking it that the "to be continued" sign indicates that there isn't anything to do, plotwise...

EDIT
That means that there's been a plot update, in case y'all didn't know

Chapter 4 is out.

Sophie kicks butt. I don't see anything to do at the shack. I don't know if there is anything we can do now but wait until they release another part.

I'm wondering... The TBC sign is gone (it wasn't last time there was only a comic but no plot update). Methinks we need to talk to people who might know... Brain Tree? Esophagor? Or maybe we need to look at a HW neohome (how would we know which one)?

EDIT: Just tried it. First Esophagor quest was easy -- blumaroo steak. Second's asking for Eliv Thade sandwich (99,999NP on the SW). So I don't think that's the answer. Unless I shouldn't have tried to do Esophagor/Braintree combo. But I have to wait 2 hours now to try again...

The 4th chapter was just released today so i think the to be continued at the end means that there is nothing left for us to do until they release the next section.

yeah, i tried it too and didnt' get anywhere. i still think you're on the right track though. i bet we need to talk to some of the illustrious residents of the haunted woods in order to move on, though that part of the plot may not be active yet.

For a most systematic approach to the vines, most people having trouble (without lucky logic) should try the following. Instead of starting out with the commonly touted "all 6 of one type of vine" (as you can spend more time than you need to, if the type you start with you happen to need none of at all), start with 0-0-0-0-0 and work up.

1. Collect all 30 vines. Find your clearing. Drop all vines into the neatest piles you can, from left to right as they are presented for least confusion.

2. Start with Icky Vines first. Add one. Click the background message. It will tell you have too few. Add one at a time of only Icky Vines, checking the message inbetween adding each one. Stop adding when the message changes.

3. Add Rotting Vines one at a time, checking the message inbetween adding each one. If your message changes to a less favorable one than before, discard the vine you just put on that created the unfavorable change.

4. Repeat in this same fashion for Crumbling Vines, Gross Vines, and Decaying Vines. Stick with one type, adding one at a time, checking the message inbetween. It should gradually become both stronger and longer. If at any point along the way the message changes unfavorably, discard the last vine you added.

5. For example, I needed 5 Icky, 4 Rotting, 0 Crumbling, 0 Gross, and all 6 Decaying to make it long enough and "fairly" strong. Even just one Crumbling or Gross made my rope weaker. After this, I simply went back to start, again adding one at a time across the board. It happened I only needed 1 more Icky (total of 6-4-0-0-6) when I finally solved the step.

I have spent hours on the vines and can't get anywhere. I am trying this method and I can see the messages change to a certain point but can't get any better than "Bruno's weight would probably overload it" Am I doing something wrong?

*going crazy*

I made maps like this too but yours are a lot neater than mine

BAH! I'm new. :) Anyways, I've been stuck on the 7th Meepit, it's killing me! I've been stuck for 2 days.
I tried mapping it out, but no luck. I swear i have no 7th Meepit.

my vine combo was 6-6-2-2-0
and I only got 200 points in Meepit Juice Break and I got the juice...

For the next clue, none of us can forget to check out the Neopedia Articles.

We know that TNT are going to bounce us around the site, namely with the Meepit Juice Break to get the Meepit Juice, which was and is very fun to do so far.

But, I know there are articles basically on all the Haunted Wood residents, from Vira to Sophie to Edna. Some of those might have the next bit of plot.

Wow, can someone please help me  No one is writing that the stick is hard to find, but I just can't find mine. I've noticed that two of my map pages don't go anywhere - when I click on a certain path it just keeps refreshing the page, apparently. So I'm wondering if there's a glitch and my stick is beyond the path that won't go anywhere. Anyone else have this sort of problem? Thanks!

Weird - Thanks, I'll try that.

Edit: Great, that worked quickly. What a waste of time I had, though; I'll have to write to one of the mods to ask them to put it into the instructions. Thanks so much again
