I was just about to post about the pic... I didnt read them in the order that they are shown I grouped all the Yellows together and read them and so on for the other colours... her is a pic of my catalogue room...

Ok, so you're reading Governmental personnel records, Unsolved thefts (desert scarabs), then Ruki population surveys twice... and so on?

1st I read Riku Populations twice then
I read unsolved Thefts (desert scarabs) then
I read Goverment personnel records....

That's your problem. you have to read in the order they appear in your catalog. For you it's Lat, Ahn, Djo (twice).

That pic doesn't work. But you have to read them in the order they appear in your catalog, not the order from the tablet. you need Lat, Ahn, Djo. Do you see in your catalog list if you look from top to bottom that Lat is the first of your symbols, with Ahn and Djo under it? That is the order you need to go in, same for Red and Blue. But I'm heading out for the night so if that doesn't answer your questions, you'll need to ask someone else for help. Good luck.

Current theory is that the first crystal also shines through. Hence for you:

Y_YBB__RYBBRR_RY
Now it's:
G_GBB__ROPBOO_PG

You do a little color math and find the colors on your 2nd cystal are:

B_BBB__RRRBYY_BB

Which of course... seems to disprove the theory because you have 7 blues 3 reds and 2 yellows... but its worth a try.

I still haven't gotten the light, I'm a SET, any ideas?

It goes in cycles of 8 hours so unless you have a spare 7 hours in a row to try, you might need to get tricky on figuring out when the cycle is convenient for you.

I suppose the cycle is random?

Ok, got my light and the new colors. Hey, I see the pattern about colors. Pattern is the same as before, just some colors are mixed now.

I'm assuming that locations might be the same,but click the color of the scroll that got change. Like how mine was:
Y_YBB__RYBBRR_RY
Now it's:
G_GBB__ROPBOO_PG


Or has this theory been tested? So my G_G I go back to the area with yellow and just click the green version? *not sure*

We are currently testing this theory

old: Y_YBB__RYBBRR_RY
new: G_GBB__ROPBOO_PG

you would read:

B_BBB__RRRBYY_BB

this is what you need to "add" to what you've read already to give you the new crystal's light pattern

Your second theory has merit as well

test, test, test... the more ideas being tested, the faster we achieve success... but not too fast, I still can't find my spike room!!!

Yes. For example, I get light at 7pm, 3am, 11am NST.

Coltzan is only mostly dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do.

wait! With the second set of colors, we have to try to figure out what the color "really" is?

I never considered that because there are purple, orange, white, green scrolls. I thought the card catalog changed to the new colors you get in the room and you just read all the scrolls again using the new colors/symbols. ARGH!

I did the scrool search as it says but i didnt get a msg about the "sharp eye" will this stop me from continueing on?

Kat did you lose your second crystal? Yikes! This is so complicated and confusing, not to mention frustrating.

Oh, there's a petpage, higuchi_no_jiro that has some pictures and an explanation for the first crystal and how to know which scrolls and colors to read *shrug*
