Oh no I couldn't cope if we had to wait even LONGER!!! This has been bad enough that it has been 24 hours passing without our understanding or being any closer to te next clue! *pulls hair out*

I still wonder if the parchments in any way are linked to the order of symbols. I have yet to form a solid theory, and wonder if I am off base because you cannot revisit the parchments once your retrieve the piece.

if this has been asked b4 im sorry but there is SOO much to go thru. anyway, do you have to go to a specific library? the reason i ask is im done for the nite im tired of looking & so i went to the library that i started at but the symbol above the door that my faerie was in was not in the library & i got kicked out. what did i do wrong?

I took screenshots of all my parchments as well, stamp ... just in case I needed them.

Because it doesn't seem possible to "re-look" at the parchment pieces after you get the tablet pieces corresponding to it ... that they will be irrelevant.

(unfortunately). I think it would have been neat if they did play into things somehow. But I'm sure few people saved all those parchments.

I kept screenies of all of my parchments. Let me know what the idea is and I can test it if you wish.

Sorry to see you go Ilovegames. I plan to stay here as I found fantastic help from the Mystery Island plot which had many people here in the first 100 to solve it. (I had just gone to bed so missed the final clue). Good luck wit your new area.

I also saved all 12 parchments, not that I think they will be re-using them but because I was so damn scared I would forget one and not being able to find it ever again...

Has anyone tried reading the scrolls in order of their Tablet? Did Egyptians read up/down, right/left, left/right.... soes anyone know?

I haven't found my statue yet... (I have tried 8 doors, so far). Is the symbol on the statue found anywhere on the Tablet?

Just a thought...

Egyptians read left to right to my knowledge, but I doubt if that's going to be very helpful

Quite possibly. I don't understand why they'd go to the trouble, though, if it wasn't significant.

Trouble? It would take less than a minute to add this little trick.

Of course, there would have to be 10 more "if" statements, one for each different symbol name.

Another thing, DO NOT say "Neopets isn't written in PHP, it's written in PHTML" because .phtml is just an alternative file extenstion for PHP like .htm is an alternative to .html.

Ahh, finally got that off my chest. Everytime someone says Neopets is programmed in phtml it bugs the crap out of me.

I looked this up last night. It is back a few splits ...

If the animals face left ... then read left to right.
If the animals face right ... then read right to left.

Our animals (fish, bird) all face left ... so we should be reading left to right.

Quick question, while nothing else is going on. How long do plots usually take? Weeks? Months? This is my first plot, so I haven't got a clue.

woot, lucky me, got the tablet complete few hours ago, and found the faerie on my 2nd attempt...

I go the uhm... Ahn sign on it, which anyway confirms that the statue is different for everybody and THUS servers another purpose then just entering the prophecy...



now i'm wondering, is it worth reading the corresponding scroll in one hour?
