The site is lagging badly for me today. I've also gotten the cannot connect to server error, as well as the red pteri from time to time. I have a (normally) very fast cable connection, and experience no lag on other sites.

Little Offtopic but you know guys these ads could be A LOT worse... they could all have.... sound

Hmmm, sound? or ..... 3rd party tracking/adware/spyware and lots of flashing, blinking, jumping around makes the page take twice as long to load .... Sound you can easily disable in internet properties, or just leave your speakers off - that's what I do

I have a question about the ads?
Why are you contracting with a generic banner ads company anyway?
You should talk to retailors who specificaly want to target childern and get ads from them. Then you can probably get mroe money per add and at the same time be sure that the content is site acceptable.
And frankly i'd rather see a banner ad for disney or whatever than for at&T or something that's totaly unrelated.
The ofsite banner-ads also don't load as fast as the ones hosted on neopets but I probably have these ads stored in my computer by now so that might be the difference.
Any hope that you could just switch the small ad to all off-site ads and get rid of this banner ad. It's INCREADIBLY annoying and it's misleading for younger players to get used to thinking that the banner ads lead to games and then to be taken of-site to a potentialy unfriendly enviroment.
on a more selfish note. I'm going to second the request for a new, reliable freezer. I don't use breakable weapons and i don't have 4 million np so I basicaly have no viable freezing options. All of the other options have pitifuly low freezing percentages New freezing (100%) and healing items that are actualy useful (that heal a larger number of hp) would be wonderful.

I actually totally agree about the freezing item. I lost my H4000 Helmet when I was frozen (how ironic) and they're so difficult to get hold of these days. It'd be great if lots more could be released, because they are kind of essential... And they've been retired for ages. Put them up in the HT for a mil and make us all happy happy Hehe.

EDIT .... found another one, on an ad for EPC. I have run my ISP's spyware, along with Spybot, ad-aware and McAfee. My computer is CLEAN. If you look at the second ss above, you'll see that Neopets is in the address of this, it's not coming from somewhere else.
I did send the view source "stuff" for the dice game via PM to Borovan. I can tell you that the tribalfusion information is in the view source.

First of all Tribalfusion in general is adware spyware who it came through.

- Destruct-O-Match still has a highscore table and a game center. Isn't it meant to be in the game graveyard?
- There is a Deckball Timed highscore table that hasn't been in use for the past few months. Can you still score on their or what?
- Meristones Cumulative highscore table should be taken off as Meristones is no longer on the site.
- The Warehouse Of Lost Plushies highscore table should be taken off, that is if the game was intended to stop posting scores...
- Random Contest and Wheel of Knowledge have a highscore table. What's the purpose of those? I think those should be taken down

Oh, and something that's been bothering me is that the Fruit Machine has a high score table - that doesn't exist! I don't get how it would even have one because the prizes are all pre-determined (as far as I know)

By the way is anyone else having problems with their side bar icons missing? Last week my username and np space and the time slot was missing...now all my sidebard icons are gone UGH, I can't click into anything..there's absolutely nothing!! no Shops, no Games, No World, nothing? what in the Neopian World is going on here?

I use IE for neopets (IE=EVIL, I know XD) and I've been getting a lot of popups. Sometimes, the only window I have open is neopets in IE and I still get them. I have TWO popup blockers, but they don't seem to be doing the job. And yes, I used Adaware and Spybot, but I'm still getting popups!

Try Spy Sweeper, it works a lot better than those two. It also has more protection, it's saved me many-a-time when the other two haven't.

Why use IE? [advertisement]Get firefox. It rox. Faster loading, adblock, pop-blocker and tabbed browsing all in one simple package. What more can you ask for?
