i assumed we could use 0 though i could be wrong meaning it's 60*60*60 or plus another *60 becuse 2 years ago my locker combo ended in 0...that thing reset on me so many times i'll never forget that it ended in 0

It's not so much the 0 that's in question here, it's whether you could have the same number twice or not.

Ive re-evaluated my answer and it seems that I did 1 small error. My answer is now kinda close to 3000days x 1.5%

I assumed that it is possible to have the same number twice, but not consecutively. I also assumed that other than that, this is a regular combination lock, like my school lock.

So is mine. At least someone got an answer close to mine .. I have hope!

Is it possible to have two repeating consecutive numbers on a school lock? o_O

never have, but i don't see why you couldn't

they way you can find out is take ur P.E. lock and change the combo on it(if u have a pe locker) then change it back

I don't even know how to change the combo. =/ I'm so clueless.

I don't believe you can have 2 consecutive same numbers. Once my lock was 12-0-12, though. :P

They gave out the prizes now -- about 2500 people got it right, judging from my share of the 2,000,000 NP prize pool.

The solution was (60^4 + 60^3) = 13176000 combinations, giving 197640000 seconds, which translates to roughly 2288 days. edit: forgot to multiply by two for the left-right-left and right-left-right-left things

That's funny, cause I answered somewhere around 4575 days, and I just got this:

New Event! Mail from theneopetsteam
(Congratulations! You have guessed corre...) (show all)

I only won 830 neopoints, though..... didn't get an item, didn't get a trophy, and didn't get an av. But that's okay, at least I proved my brother wrong! It's strange that you got so much more money..... maybe they give out a higher percentage to the first 250 people. That's also my theory about why I didn't get the Lenny av.

I submitted 4545 days

But unlike Amarise, I DID get the av and trophy. But no item.

I too submited 4575 days, and got the whole list of prizes. I'm so happy I finally got the avie! I believe the new system says that only the first 250 people will get an item, avatar and trophy plus the np.

PS This is how I did it:
60^3 = 216000
60^4 = 12960000
Total = c
c/2/60/24 = 4575 (days)
