Altador Plot (Split 48) READ THE FAQ!

I know the neopedia article has been mentioned in the past http://www.neopets.com/neopedia.phtml?neopedia_id=78 and it states that 10 of the heros are still around. However I have not seen any of the 12 anywhere in Altador. If any of the heros were still around, wouldn't we have run into them by now? Still the hall of heros is in the picture for the article which implies that the statues already existed when the 10 ruled even if they no longer do. So it seems unlikely that they are 'in' their statues.

along those same lines we never see King kelpbeard in maraqua. Is he trapped in a statue also?
...Acctually the only rulers we ever really see out side of comics are skarl feora(sp?) and the princess of sahkmet... along with darigan and hagen or whatever the brightvale kings name is.

So in keeping with the Neopets way of doing things, the 10 council members are around somewhere but we pitiful future presidents of the astronomy club are not socialized with.

I only recall the archivist saying that memory and history were being restored. However it is a common theme here that the heros will be restored even though there is evidence that they do not need to be restored. Is there a specific reason for this?

what i got, me being lazy, reading only the last part of the first story after prologue, the king was in love with the dark fairie, something thats totally a dumb guess

i have a sad ability to notice these things

the lenny said something about looking in archives

might we have to look at the clues the lenny made?

anyone thought what might we have to do with stars?

how about the moon and sun, them being quite important to altator?

i think that image behind the statues is a flag

lol but you're right, we hardly ever see those guys. although we fight them sometimes...but anyway, about the 10 TNT says are left: i'm guessing that it's all but the Sleeper and "betrayer". i don't like that name, though, because i don't think it was evil that the history went away. there was probably a reason. but, aside from motives, i think it is highly likely that completing the plot will remind everyone what happened. the Book of Ages will become the main history source, if nothing else remains. then we MIGHT see the remaining heroes...but you never know.

I still cannot grasp the fact of WHY on earth I'm still on my collector. Somehow, irritatingly for me, I don't have much time on Neopets, and when I do, irritatingly, only Magical Marvels and Illustrious Armory (spelling?) keeps stocking. The other two are ALWAYS out of stock. When I change my money in accordance to the inflation, THE REQUIRED ITEM NEVER COMES OUT lol.

I've been on it for as long as it was released. ARGH!

Actually, the Ice Cream Company is Hägen Dasz and there is a dark warrior named Hagen in the Nibelung myth...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hagen_%28legend%29 Oh, it's so much shorter than the German article :/

Just because two people aren't in love, doesn't mean one can't have their heart broken by the other. Altador respected, trusted and worked with the Darkest Faerie and to have her turn upon the kingdom he had worked so hard to make perfect must have been devastating.

I guess my only real question after looking over (and rereading thoroughly) all of the facts and clues is this: If we all suspect that the Darkest Faerie is the Betrayer, then why does the Lenny not think so? He's still intent (as per the last round) that Fauna couldn't have done it, she'd have no reason to, and Jerdana and Altador had no REAL reason to do it either. Do we still think, even though her constellation has been found, and she's been nixed from the list that she's still the betrayer?

The Darkest Faerie is the Betrayer. That's what the whole PSII game "The Darkest Faerie" is about.

However, somebody has used very powerful magic to erase the memory of the Darkest Faerie betraying Altador from everybody's mind and all the archives in Neopia. The magic used didn't have the "taint of the Darkest Faerie" however (as the Lenny explains after you find one of the earlier clues), meaning some other person (*cough* Jerdana or Altador *cough*) has erased the history of Altador, yet at the same time is allowing us to recover it.

i'm assuming that everyone thinks that Altador has been protected from the betrayer by Jerdana, and that this event appears in everyones mind as happening after the "betrayal" or whatever it is.

and my bet is on Altador himself, as some weird plot the protect the land it makes sense in my mind

Yeah, I agree, the people of Altador don't seem phased at all their city has no ruler, and that their heros may or may not be frozen statues. Or that they just up and disappeared.

Although, we haven't actually seen many Altadorians. Only the shopkeepers, the janitor, finneus, the astronomy club members, farmer follies, and the weird quiggle that won't lets us into any of his clubs(forgive me if I've forgotten anyone, I'm not quite awake yet). That's not nearly enough for a city altador's size. So maybe the citizens have been hidden away? Perhaps after finding all the constellations we'll have to find them.
